Yes, that was a Dragon Ball Z reference
Chasing after the elf
Fred used his flame sword to cut the snare, landing on the ground. Daenerys slowly approached Tarena. Seeing no way to defeat the incubus or the dragon, Tarena fled, leaving her bow behind.
Daenerys ran after the elf. Tarena could tell the dragon's speed was not as fast as it could be. While Daenerys' current speed could allow her to outrun any human or animal, elves were faster.
'She's not at full power. Most dragons would have already caught me' Tarena thought.
But still, Tarena would eventually tire out if she didn't lose Daenerys. Noticing that the dragon wasn't flying yet, she quickly climbed up one of the trees. Daenerys followed her up. However Tarena jumped from branch to branch.
Daenerys attempted to follow her but she lacked the elf's agility and fell to the ground. She opted to follow Tarena from the ground. Fred himself also chased after Tarena. He attempted to swipe flames at her with his sword but she would just jump out the way.
Eventually Tarena tried out and missed a tree branch, falling to the floor. She managed to land on the her hands and feet and continued to run. Soon, they reached the end of the forest where there was a huge waterfall.
****, the elf jumped down the waterfall. She was quickly out of sight.
--
Tarena was swept down the river until she washed up on the shore. She crawled over behind some rocks, hoping her enemies couldn't see her.
--
"We've got no way of catching the elf" said Fred, "lets continue back to Amazonia"
