Coming clean

"I'm not Alpha," you say, then you wait for the words to sink in.

Bitsie looks confused and she doesn't seem to know how to react. "You're... not Alpha? What does that mean? But you have superpowers and... I'm confused..."

"Yes, I have powers," you decide not to get into the topic of magic rings, "But I'm not that 1 the other Lois Lanes called Alpha. He's a different guy, although we're alike in a way, I guess. I met him yesterday and he mentioned that he had "met" all the Lois Lanes, so I came to find you," you say.

Bitsie looks thoughtful as she thinks about what you just said. You had expected her to recoil but she remains where she's sitting with your hand over hers. She seems to be trying to remember her conversations with the other Lois Lanes and she speaks up after a while. "That's why," she says, looking at you, "I thought you didn't fit the description of Alpha from what they said but since you could fly and stuff I just thought..."

You shrug apologetically.

"Wait, then who are you?" Bitsie asks.

"I'm John Colins. I've actually been in the news," you say, then you go on to tell her about you being the mayor of New York and the story about you being from another planet that you had told the world yesterday. Bitsie listens patiently with her facial expressions showing some surprise at times until you're finish telling her about your encounter with Alpha and why you were seeking out 1 of the Lois Lanes who might know him well. Of course, you leave out the part about Jennifer Lawrence.

Bitsie takes a deep breath at the end as she processes the new and shocking information to her. "It must be Amy Adams," she says, referring to the 1 you might be looking for. "The way she talked about him... she sounded like a schoolgirl with a crush."

"Then I guess I'm going to go visit her and find out," you say.

Bitsie nods and tells you where Amy lives since she had visited the other actress at her home when they spoke. After that, you go get your clothes from the study and get dressed. Then, as you're about to leave through the window in Bitsie's bedroom, she grabs your arm and stops you.

"Wait, does that mean that the real Alpha is going to pay me a visit?" she asks, sounding scared.

"Not if I deal with him first," you respond.

Bitsie pauses, still hanging onto you. "And what about you? Will I see you again?"

"Do you want to?" you ask.

"... I wouldn't mind," Bitsie says, blushing.

You smile and lean back to kiss her on the cheek. "Then maybe I'll visit from time to time," you say. Then, you pull your arm away from Bitsie and activate your magic rings to fly out of the window and then turn invisible.
