Beauty and the Beast

Wayne Manor minutes later Bruce is in his study staring at the fireplace thinking of Pamela when Dick bursts in "Bruce it's Freeze he's escaped", Bruce looks out of the window a sees the bat signal flashing. Outside the snowy cones ice Crea Factory (Freeze's hideout) is a police perimeter a limo drives by with Ivy and Freeze in the back Bane driving. "Hmmm it could be tricky getting in, I could give every last one of them a shot of my love dust..." Freeze cuts her off "Or we could just do this" he reaches into the console in the forearm of his suit and pushes a button a secret ramp opens outback they drive inside just as it closes the Batmobile screeches into view.

Batman and Robin examine Freez's lab. Commissioner Gordon enters and drops a video disk in a console player. Gordon "There's no sign he came back here after the escape. We pulled this off the surveillance cameras at Arkham." The monitor shows the three villains daring escape. "The woman and the other fellow" Gordon continues "Put several people in the hospital at Gotham airport earlier this week and two of the guards in Arkham with toxins introduced through the mouth" Batman hits a switch. The image of Ivy fills the screen. Robin "She's definitely part of this. It's weird, for a while Ivy was all I could think about. But then..." Batman "I know. The feeling just vanished.", Robin "I can't believe we were fighting over a bad guy." Batman corrects him "Bad, yes. Guy, no.This is one majorly beautiful evil person." , Robin "I'm totally over her. Positively." "Me too." Freeze and Ivy appear beneath in under a grate they've been listening in "Great stems, though." Comments Batman , "Umm-hmmmm Buds too". Ivy has to hold her hand over her mouth to stop from snorting as she's laughing at them... Still pining over me? She thinks to herself I'm sorry boys but once you catch Poison Ivy you'll never be able to scratch the itch. Batman and Robin are looking at a freezer with several frozen meals Batman reaches for the sesame chicksn and it opens a secret door "How did you know?" asks Robin, "Open Sesame... Sesame chicken" he replies they enter Freeze's lab, Ivy and Freeze follow from underneath.

Batman and Robin enter, they examine Nora Fries in her sarcophagus. Batman " She's still alive. He's adapted his freezing technology to reverse McGregor's Syndrome. He's even found a cure for the early stages of the disease." Underneath Ivy and Freeze are whispering Freeze laments "In my weakened state I am no match for the bat and the bird." Ivy puts a hand to his lips "Sssssh, You leave Batman and Robin to me." Freeze looks skeptical. Ivy smiles seductively. "Trust me. Vegetable magnetism...now go" she looks up at the grate above where Batman and Robin are standing and slowly begins to climb the ladder up. Robin "Can he save her?", "No. Her case is too advanced. But maybe, someday, with more resea...." Fairy like spirals begin winding through the room. Love Dust Batman and Robin, both dazed, follow the dust through a snaking passage, wrench open two service doors...

They're in the main factory Ice Cream begin produced around them Batman "No Beauty..." Bane Lurches from nowhere "Just the beast" says Robin, Batman rushes the monster. Bane Sideswipes him, sending him flying off the stairs towards the basement below. Robin uses Batman's distraction to smash into Bane's chest. Robin bounces off, landing hard atop the landing. Elsewhere the front doors of the factory Blow open Gordon and the Cops stare up to face Mr. Freeze, standing atop the steps. "I hate uninvited guests." The Cops race up the stairs towards Freeze. He pulls a lever marked COOLANT GAS. Vents around the room begin to hiss blue freezing gas causing the police to freeze in place.

Upstairs Batman has been sent flying into the side of a steel vat full of ice cream, he springs up but only to be hit with a volley of Love Dust "I must admit there's something about seeing Batman in action really puts fire in a girls lips, tell me..." She gets closer to him "Does that suit have a zipper", her face agonisingly close to his "I've been dreaming of this ever since we met at the Flower Ball"..."Why are all the gorgeous ones homicidal maniacs?" He replies he sees robin being pummeled pulls away and runs up the stairs to help. Ivy is frustrated but disappears into the shadows. Downstairs again Freeze is tinkering with his equipment at the top of a staircase more police enter and begins to follow "Why don't you slip into something more comfortable?" Asks Freeze as he pushes a button the steps become a on icy ramp he pushes the first cop back who sets them all tumbling.

Batman and Robin are still struggling with Bane who throws Robin down a small stairwell he's about to get back up when suddenly the air tastes a little sweeter Love Dust he's frantically looking around for the source when Ivy steps in front of him she bends down so they're eye level "Hey there, pretty birdy" Robin stands up Ivy is backing him against the chopper blades making sticks for the popsicles Robin almost pleads "Give yourself up if you threw yourself at...", "At you?" She answers "Polly want a kiss" she's so close their lips millimeters apart when suddenly Batman throws a batterang at the two of them Ivy feigns she's hurt and slinks away again, Robin has a face of fury as he grabs the Millers wheel which brings him up the higher level again and begins to attack Bane furiously Batman is thrown over the railing and lands on a conveyer belt.

Batman is moving towards the chopper blades he's about to get up and suddenly Ivy jumps on top of him and blows more dust in his face their faces are close "Oooooh Batman, you bring out the animal in me" she begins to growl and paw at his suit "Great" he answers "I knew I should have brought my leash", Ivy's eyes narrow as they get closer to the blades "Enough sweet talk" she moves in for the kiss when at the last second, Batman averts his face, wrenching Ivy to the floor just ahead of the freezing blade. Batman (mustering all his will) "You're going to jail" he grabs her wrist, Ivy looks worried for a second but looks up and smiles "I'm a lover not a fighter. That's why every Poison Ivy action figure comes complete with...him." Bane stands atop a giant storage vat, a dazed Robin hanging in his hand. Bane tosses the boy aside, he slides feet first down a conveyer belt and double fists Batman into the wall. "I'm off to find Bachelor Number Two try not to make a mess when you die."
