Beauty and the Beast Part 2

Downstairs Freeze has finally accessed his diamonds and powered up his suit freezes the entire police **** and made his escape. Upstairs Batman is fighting Bane and sees Ivy closing in on Robin she has him against a vat, she blows more and more dust into his face "Are you ok? Batman shouldn't have hurt you" Robin asks, Ivy rubs her head feigning injury "I'm fine, but why do you let him boss you around like that? You're living in the shadow of the big bad bat" she places her arms on his shoulders and stretches them out "You don't need him...you're the star" she looks up, Robin does too "I can see it now you're own big bright signal in the sky...let me guide you...let me kiss you" she leans in close they kiss Batman throws a batterang again this time hitting Robin, he smashes Bane over the head with a metal pipe momentarily stunning him, Robin turns furiously to Batman as ivy slinks away smiling.

Batman "Remember the victim at the airport. Toxins introduced through the mouth." "What are you talking about?" Batman "Why is she so **** to kiss us? I'm betting her lips are poison.", "A poison kiss? You have some real issues with women, you know that? (advancing) You just couldn't stand that she kissed me and not you (shoves him) Couldn't stand that something might be mine and not yours. Could you?! Well she's kissed me twice now and I'm still alive" Robin shoves him harder still. In frustration, Batman delivers a fantastic roundhouse, sending Robin into a vat of mint ice cream. Ivy is on a ladder ecstatic watching them fight laughing and waving at Batman "Exit, Bane!" She scales the ladder and leaves Batman tries to help Robin up. Robin shrugs him off, stands. "Ivy's right. I don't need you. I'm going solo. I want my own signal in the sky. Batman looks around. Ivy and Bane are gone. Commissioner Gordon arrives "What happened? How'd they get away?" But the caped crusader doesn't have an answer.

Ivy enters Freeze's lab through the snaking passage. She sensually walks carefully stepping over the main power line with every step till the last one and she kicks the cable out turns to face Freeze's wife, still in her frozen sarcophagus. "So sorry, Ms. Fridigaire. I'm just not good with competition" Status lights flash red.

Later that night at Wayne Manor Dick is furious as he is packing a bag Bruce is trying to convince him to stay "You say we're a family? We're not! In the flying Grayson's we survived based on trust", "I do trust you Dick but Ivy has done something to you she's in your head", "OH YEAH! SHE COULDN'T POSSIBLY WANT ME AND NOT YOU", Bruce tries to calm him "Listen Dick...", Dick interrupts "I don't want to hear it, you don't trust me, you don't respect me, because you're afraid of me out shining you Ivy was right!" Dick storms downstairs gets on his motorcycle and leaves.

Meanwhile at the Turkish Baths Ivy and Bane arrive Ivy wearing a fur coat Red at the top perfectly matching and mixing in her hair she strolls through the gardens suddenly feeling the cold and she sees her breath and ventures into the frosty mist to a section of the baths that Freeze has made his own having shot the walls with his pistol, the room now a world of ice. Ivy takes off her coat and throws it on Bane "Make yourself right at home." Freeze doesn't even look up "Where is my wife?" Ivy feigning sadness "There was nothing I could do. Batman deactivated her. She's dead.", "You lie!" Freeze lunges for Ivy. Bane steps between them. Ivy stills Bane with a gesture. "I'm sorry." Ivy reaches up, holding Nora's snowflake necklace between her and the looming Freeze. Freeze stops, takes the chain in his hand. Freeze turns away "Their bones will turn to ice. Their blood will freeze in my hands.", Ivy at her manipulative best sees an opportunity and snaps it up like a Venus Fky Trap "Kill them of course. But why stop there? Why should only Batman and Robin die while the society that created them goes unpunished?", "Yes. I shall replay the world for sentencing me to a life without the warmth of human comfort. I will blanket the city in endless winter. First Gotham and then the world." Ivy beaming as she removes her gloves "Just what I had in mind. Everything dead on Earth except us. A chance for mother nature to start again." (she lifts a flower) " Plants and flowers are the oldest species on the planet yet they are defenseless against man. Behold the dawn of a new age." From a canister labeled PROJECT GILGAMESH, Ivy removes a savage, other-worldly plant with hissing fangs. "I have created a race of plants with the strength of the deadliest animals. Once you have frozen mankind, my mutants will overrun the globe and we shall rule them. For we will be the only two people left in the world.", Freeze smiles "Adam and Evil. You will distract the bat and bird while I prepare to freeze Gotham." Ivy replies "Can't we just ice them along with the rest of the citizenry?" Freeze turns "That is far too merciful Batman will watch his beloved Gotham perish, then I will kill him.", Ivy thinks for a moment "As a team, the duncely duo protect each other. But Robin is young, impetuous if I could get him alone-" Freeze cuts her off "One kiss and you could lift the mask from his lifeless face, their secret identities would be revealed but how best to bait a bird? " Ivy laughs " Leave that to me, the way to a boy's heart is through his ego what strapping young hero could resist his very own...signal?" Freeze laughs "Inspired, Ms. Ivy."
