We ended up deciding that it would be easier for now just to let her use your electronics. Unless we find that Alcina needs her own desk space. “After every lost game you got to strip one article of clothing. First person that is naked loses.” She said, smirking at you.

“Ok...We both got the same amount of clothing on...6 pieces of clothes. That seems fair.” You said not trying to blush as you looked over at Alcina looking you up and down as well.

“If things are going to be interesting, let’s make this as fair as possible. No items, only tournament stages, 3 stacks each. That sound fair?” You said, as you set up the rules in the menu.

“Either way I am going to win.” She said confidently, and picked Snake.

“Well damn. Ok. I guess I got my work cut out for me,” You said, went and picked Corrin, before making it female Corrin.

“The only thing I don’t like about this game is that they nerfed my boy’s ass...So sad.” She said before the match started, that had me chuckle.

“It does affect gameplay...not as distracting. Definitely a hard nerf.” You replied.

The round started off rough. Immediately you had to deal with all of Snake’s explosive kit. Though you could counter a lot of missiles it didn’t do much with Snake not being right next to you. You did remember that you can pick up the dropped grenades and throw them. But It was a hard match. You were playing very aggressively but Alcina was not at all. You did manage to juggle her a few times, and tried to keep the fight in the air where you had more of an advantage. But She was clevering using her kit by dropping mines whenever she got sent high above the stage. You didn’t end up winning the first round.

“Wow ok. I see you. Alright I am going to take off my jacket and get serious.” You said before confirming your choice of character and going to start the next game.

“Yeah you better. Or else I'm going to start feeling bad. Don’t want you to think I am bullying you.” She said teasingly.

“If I actually played any of the fire emblem games. I try and say some cheesy line this character has said. But I honestly have no idea.” You said.

“Honestly I should have probably played metal gear. It's something my friends really liked but I never got into because it was popular.” She commented before the game started.

Long story Short you lost this round but you were getting closer. You pulled off one of your socks with a huff.

“Just warming up. I am only wearing my lucky sock now so its powers are two-fold.” You said.

“Do you really have a lucky sock?” She asked, chuckling.

“No, I am just trying to come up with quirky comic hero lines” You said honestly. You did manage to win this game. But you weren’t sure if it was the skill, or the jokes you tried to tell while playing. It was close though, you both were on high percentages before you managed to take the win.

“Huh maybe it is a lucky sock after all.” You comment as you watched Alcina Take off her sweatshirt.

“Ok Time for me to get serious.” She says and picks Palutena.

“Oh no I got to switch it up now. I liked to play the new characters But I haven’t gotten to play them much since they came out.” You said as you picked Pyra and Mythra.

This game was a lot more chaotic. And defending against Palutena had you using mythra almost all the time just to try and close the gap between the two of you. And most of the time you were not able to faze through any of her attacks while switching between characters. You ended up losing the match, but you felt strong with the new character choice. Definitely is able to kill a bit easier than Corrin, and the counter ability against ranged characters is not all that helpful anyway.

“Damn how often have you played this game?” You asked as you pulled off your shirt. You had to believe in the lucky sock at this point.

“I've been playing since melee scrub git gud” she replied.

Needless to say you lost the next game as well. And now you were down a pair of pants. Just your underwear and your lucky sock. But you were getting better.

“You really are holding onto that sock as long as possible aren’t you?” She said chuckling as she eyed you very full underwear.

“Damn straight. Has not failed me yet.” You said without skipping a beat.

And this time you did manage to win! You learned how to faze through a lot of Plutana ranged attacks this way letting you get close and get off your combos. Her teleport ability still made it hard to stay on her.

“Guess I am down to my luck sock too.” Alcina said, stripping off of her socks.

“Looks like we finally got ourselves a game.” You said as you queued up the next game.

There were no words spoken between either of you this match. Both of you were out to win. But You were not about to lose your lucky sock. And you managed to win the next game! Luckily it was a battlefield stage so you had a bit easier of a time juggling her.

“Ok I see this some new character bias. I am not used to fighting them. But that won’t last,” She said as she also took over her pants so that we were even.

“We’ll see about that,” you said.

But you were cocky. You didn’t believe in your lucky sock hard enough to win the last match. In fact it was a pretty humiliating defeat. She didn’t even get down a single stock.

After managing to win another close round you jumped up from the couch and put your hands up.
