Ending 1 - Trey's Ring

Davina picked the simplest ring out of the three engagement rings, with a small clear diamond in the centre, slipping it onto her finger.

With a joint shout of “Ladies, meet you fiancés” by the hosts, the men started to come forward.

Deke went to Tanya, who tried but failed to show her disappointment.

Marty went to Charlene, who leapt into his arms, and Jenson to Julia, who violently made out.

It was revealed Chris had proposed to Rebecca, Rufus to Maria, and Patrick to Stacey.

‘Honestly not bad couples, they really deserve each other, especially you Tanya!’, Davina thought as she looked over at them, only to hear somebody clearing their throat, and she turned around to see… Trey.

Of all people, it had to be him, the most bull-headed of them all, who was responsible for twisting Devin into the piece of shit that got himself into this mess.

Before Davina could react, Trey was upon her, sliding his tongue into her mouth, and the bewildered Davina just let him out of a feeling of pure emptiness, remembering part way through that she had to pretend to enjoy it, before meekly kissing back.

It turned out that the other proposer was Bob, and that the other ring was a special one given to people who received more than one offer.

If she had chosen it, Davina would have been able to see who the other two rings were from and pick for herself.

Kicking herself for not choosing the special ring, Davina made her way down to the beach with the others, hand in hand with Trey, where an alter and officiant were waiting, who Davina immediately realised was Annie, there to see Davina’s big moment in person and having trouble hiding her grin upon seeing Davina’s fiancé.

Davina managed to hide the fact she was staring daggers into Annie the whole time, and gave a convincing “I do”, first married kiss and signing of marriage documents, as she internally begged for her torment to come to an end.

It was announced that as Davina had the most points at the end (from not being able to spend them), and having gotten married, she was the definitive Queen of the Archipelago, a useless title which she faked great appreciation at, celebrating with the women.

“And with our couples happily married, that brings this first series of Desire Archipelago to a close! We’ll see you all back on the beach next season!”, the hosts announced, before promptly leaving, desperate to “get off this goddamn island!”.

“Ready to go to your new home, babe?”, Trey asked Davina, who told him to wait a second before heading over to Annie.

“There I’ve done it, I’ve married that pig, now change me back like you promised”, Davina demanded.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t make any promises. Girls, have you been speaking on my behalf again? You really are naughty!”, Annie laughed as she looked at the smirking Clarice and Tanya.

“B-b-but my points…”, a distraught Davina tried to spit out.

“Are worthless at the end of the show! You had your opportunity to change back, but you blew it! You really shouldn’t have had that flash of conscience. If you had just used your points to reverse each procedure after it was done, you’d be completely fine now. But instead you kept holding off till it was too late. I bet you actually wanted this to happen to you, being made into a complete slut!”, chastised Annie.

Tears were streaming down Davina’s face now, and she was stuttering like crazy trying to form a sentence.

“Tell you what, let’s make a deal. I can already tell you’re gonna be the break-out star of this show, so how would you like even more fame? I got a real housewives show coming up, and it’d do the ratings wonders to have a sexy piece of glam arm candy like you star in it. All you gotta do is live your life and let the cameras follow you around. And when the show gets cancelled, I’ll turn you back. I won’t even put any fine print on the contract. Plus you’ll also make a tonne of money from it. How’s that sound?”, Annie offered.

Davina’s friends and Trey had realised she was crying and came over to her, asking what’s wrong, Annie explaining it away that “Oh I’ve just offered her the starring role in a new reality show I’m making, featuring you all of course, and she’s a bit overwhelmed, poor thing!”.

As the girls and Davina’s husband congratulated Davina, Annie asked her “So, what’ll it be?”.
