Mythical and Mystical

"So," You say, "Mythical I understand, for the most part. Why add in mystical though? Seems a bit redundant doesn't it?"

Your guide grins as you casually walk, presumably towards the Mythical and Mystical portion of the facility. "I could say that the mythical is, practically by definition, also mystical by its very nature; but I'm sure that isn't the answer you are looking for. The short answer can be summed up in a single word, magic. Apparently magic exists, or something akin to it anyways. Don't ask me to explain the logic behind it, because I haven't the slightest clue. There are some few of our mythical residents that possess certain powers and abilities that our current science just can't explain."

As you reach a doorway, your guide palms a scanner beside the door and grabs the handle. "Here we are, and I must remind you before we enter, don't stray too far from my side. Not everything here is as it seems, and your safety might be at risk if I can't keep my eyes on you. That said, welcome to a true world of fantasy!"

With that, he swings the door open and you both step inside. What you see is... Impossible. If you didn't know any better, you would swear you were outside. Everywhere you looked there was wide open skies, trees that reached higher than you could see, pools of unnatural blues, and various creatures here and there. At first you thought this was a lot of space for what only seemed like a dozen or so creatures, until you looked closer and began to notice many seem hidden. It was like one of those pictures where you tried to find hidden objects, which you always found kind of fun.

With a polite cough you guide motioned you forward, "Come now sir, there is much to show you. Currently our destination is that castle in the distance, but we have time enough to take in the sights. Now..." He begins walking, you following a step behind. "In these fields you'll find many of our residents which require a certain type of environment to thrive. The Dryads, for example."

He motions to a small forest nearby, where you see a few ladies of small stature, in various earthy colors. Some of them even seemed to blend in with the trees themselves, almost as though they could be mistaken for a tree if they stood still enough.

Still pointing out the sights, your guide continues with his tour. "I would take care with the trees, there are some residents that like to hide in them, one in particular being a cheeky little serpent. The smaller residents, such as the pixies, tend to prefer remaining underground for some reason. I can show you one of the entrances if you would like. Larger residents such as trolls, griffins and the like are often found around the castle. The waterfalls, lakes, and rivers are home to those with a more aquatic nature like mermaids, kelpies, and so on. Then there's the castle which, well, has some interesting residents."

"So then," he smiles at you, "Anything in particular you want to see first?"
