Disciplining an employee

The memories come back to you in a rush of shocking clarity.

"Five year," you'd said your voice tight with fury "Five years you've worked under me Kevin and now I find you've been fuck me this whole time. Diverting company funds to off shore accounts. Stealing time on company servers. A warehouse's worth of materials purchased on company cards. I don’t even know what half this shit is but somehow it's coming out of my department budget."

Kevin flinch as you slammed the thick sheath of evidence down on the desk in front of him. His moth flapped open and for a moment you thought he might actually have the gaul to try and deny it but instead his mouth flapped shut again and he swallowed hard.

"I, I can explain" he stammered "just give me a chance to show you."

"Alright," you agreed "but remember the only reason you aren't already in cuffs is because I don’t want this blowing back on me. The second I hear something I don't like I'm calling the FBI."

Pale and visibly shaken Kevin lead you down into the buildings deepest subasment passing half forgotten storerooms and humming machinery. Finally you reached an unmarked door at the end of narrow windowless corridor. Inside you found an old man tinkering with what looked like a cross between a dentist's chair and an explosion in a hardware store. The old man looked up clearly as suprised to see you as you were to see him.

You were about to ask the man who the hell he was when you were interrupted by a stinging pain in your ass. Whirling round you saw a smug looking Kevin holding a syringe and then...

And then nothing, darkness, the void, then here.

"Oh shit," you breathe in horror "You, you did this! That little shit Kevin **** me. What the hell do freaks think you are doing?"

The old man just smiles at your outburst and makes another note.

"Excellent," he says "memory and personality profile appear intact. We can move to phase two testing."
