Booming thunder!

Melissa is startled by a loud crack of thunder and just as she gasps, the lights flicker and go out. “Oh, that’s just great”, she sarcastically mutters to herself and carefully sets down her glass of wine after feeling out where the table was. The silence engulfs her house with all the power out, the leggy vixen walks slowly toward the window and notices that she does not hear and rain hitting the roof. The floor creaks as her heels step across the room, Melissa does not notice the fact that there is the sound of wood floors creaking, yet she is walking on the carpeting.
