Faranne's Trust Issues

"Yes, yes it is! Make yourself at home and welcome to the village, you can stay as long as you want!" - Lilith exclaimed cheerfully, as she was more than happy to have Katsumi and Sayuri stay to live at the island, and since her older sister didn't like the idea of trusting the foxgirls, she wasn't going to allow her waste the opportunity of having new friends, so she decided to respond for Faranne, and allow the foxgirls to stay, without actually having the authority to give those orders.

Faranne sighed with discontent, as she knew she couldn't argue with her little sister in this situation, specially because all of her friends were supporting Lilith, so it made her seem like she was the villain, from not wanting to trust the fox sisters.

"Come on Faranne, they are clearly innocent... they are not going to do anything bad to us, you are acting just like when we met Adeline and look at her... She is just a friendly android girl, so stop being so skeptical of people..." - Zoey said, with a playful, but harsh tone, as she wanted to let Faranne know she was being too uptight about the foxgirls situation.

Faranne started to reconsider her view on the fox sisters, as she noticed how everyone was staring at her, with concern, as she was being too stubborn with not trusting the new girls. She felt a little ashamed of herself, after seeing that everyone was agreeing with the idea of letting the fox sisters live in the island, so she realized she couldn't continue being so distrustful with Katsumi and Sayuri, and tried being more understanding, to not make her friends upset at her.

"I'm sorry, you are right... I'm just being cautious in case some monsters might have followed them or something, you know..." - Faranne replied, with a shy expression, that surprised everyone to see. She felt like she couldn't explain herself, and the people that she most loved were going to dislike her, for being so skeptical of everyone she met, but instead of her friends turning their back on her, they all tried to support her.

Faranne calmed down a little, when she saw how her sister, Zoey, Finn, Adeline, and even the fox sisters, started smiling at her, which made her feel safe, as she realized how everyone was showing compassion for her, after accepting her apology, and even reassuring the idea that they would always be her friends, as they began making jokes, and laughing together, to make her feel better.

"Well, if you fear these cute foxgirls doing something malicious, which seems impossible, I have something that allows everyone to keep in touch with each other... It’s like a magical messenger for us to talk and see what we are doing at any time and any distance that we want..." - Adeline said, with a playful smile, that made Faranne smile with happiness, but also making her, and everyone else curious, to see what the android girl was talking about.

Adeline pulled out a small device out of her body, to show off to all of her friends, as everyone gathered up, to take a look at what this gadget did. She started explaining that it worked similarly to her tracker from yesterday, but it was better used for communication between people.

"So look, here we just connect this device with another one by saving these numbers and I should be able to make contact between them..." - Adeline explained, to an amazed crowd surrounding her, while holding the magical messenger. Everyone didn't understand anything that was happening, but for that reason, she tried to make an example, by pulling out another one of the same exact device, and handing it to Lilith, for her to walk away, and create a distance between the two devices, so the communication would be noticeable.

"Here, now if I press on this contact it should send a message to Lilith..." - Adeline said, as she showed the number of the device Lilith was holding, to then press on it, and call her. For a second, there was a suspenseful silence, before everyone turned their attention to Lilith, as her device started vibrating, and making sounds.

"Yea, here it is... What do I do??" - Lilith asked with excitement, as her small device started ringing in her hands.

"Just press on it and we should be able to talk to each other from a distance" - Adeline quickly replied, before holding her device to her ear, and waiting for Lilith to answer her call. The catgirl was so excited, from hearing her messenger ring, that she got a little nervous about responding, but did it anyway, because the curiosity was killing her.

"Hello! How are you doing?" - Adeline asked playfully, as soon as Lilith answered her call, which shocked everyone, after they heard her voice coming from Lilith's device.

"Oh!! It works!... Wow, is just like my videogame console!" - Lilith exclaimed cheerfully, after hearing Adeline's voice speaking to her clearly, even though they were far away. Everyone cheered with Lilith, as they witnessed something they have never seen before, which made Adeline giggle, as she was well experienced with these types of devices, and advanced technology.

"Yes, see, it does work so if you want to call me again you can by just opening the device and pressing my number... You should probably change it to my name so you know who is calling you..." - Adeline replied, with a proud smile, as she saw how her friends were so intrigued by her devices, specially Zoey and Lilith, who had plans to use the messenger a lot from now on, but for two completely different reasons.

"So you are telling me that we can call each other whenever we want and at any distance??" - Zoey asked with curiosity, as she stared at Finn flirtatiously, while imagining the conversations they could have in the future. While Lilith was planning to use her messenger to make a ton of prank calls to her friends, Zoey had more exciting plans, since she had Finn as her boyfriend.

She was planning on making friendly calls, and constantly talking with him, to check how he was doing everyday, specially if they were far away. But not only that, she was thinking about a couple ways to spend more time with him, like calling him to plan a romantic date, or send him flirty messages, or even just give him a quick call, to let him know she was horny, and wanted to have sex with him. It opened a lot of possibilities for their relationship, so she was very eager to add Finn's number, and talk with him from a distance, which also made him excited, although he only had in mind friendly calls, and nothing about the sexy messages, and romantic calls

"Yep, and you should be able to see each other with a more advanced feature that I'm working on... but for now you can send messages and talk with each other if you have the number of the person you choose" - Adeline replied to Zoey's question, making her more excited, as she thought about having virtual sex with Finn in the future, just in case their relationship got into a desperate situation, where they couldn't see each other.

But since Adeline's messenger idea got everyone excited, they all grabbed one device each, to then spend a long time exchanging numbers with everyone, so all of the friends could call each other, at any time and stay in contact, which also made Faranne feel safe, as she now had a way of checking what the foxgirls did, with just a simple call. Although she quickly grabbed her messenger, and added everyone to her contacts, before walking away, and distancing herself from everyone, which Finn noticed, and got him worried, so he quickly walked up to her, and checked to see how she was doing.

"Hey, so are you feeling okay or you are just trying the new messenger?" - Finn asked, with a charismatic smile, that made Faranne chuckle, after being surprised by him.

"Yes, I'm good, don't worry... but thank you for asking Finn" - Faranne replied, with a soft voice, before giving Finn a sweet smile, and turning around, as she expected him to go talk with someone else. But since he was a little worried about her, after the discussion at breakfast, he wanted to make sure she was doing good, and find out if there was any way he could help to cheer her up.

"And do you need me to help you with something?" - Finn asked, with a slightly nervous tone, as he didn't exactly know how to make Faranne feel better. He even wished he could be more like Adeline at that moment, but it wasn't necessary, as Faranne loved him for being how he is.

"How sweet of you... no I don't think- I mean, yes... I actually need you to do some stuff around the village..." - Faranne replied, with a playful smile, after turning around again, and looking at Finn, with dearing eyes, as she realized how much he cared for her, it was almost as much as she cared for him, but was still just as heartwarming.

So after Finn got excited, to see he had the chance to make Faranne feel better, he waited eagerly for her response, as she started thinking about the task he needed to do for her...
