The Victory Route:

You arrive back in town, where you say your goodbyes and split off from Barry making your way home. You enter the house and your mom looks up from the dishes she is washing to see the Poke Ball attached to your hip. She squeals excitedly rushing over and hugging you. "We have a lot to talk about!" She says dragging you to the couch and sitting down. "First we need to discuss some things. I'd like to ask you to set the Pokémon free and let him rest while we talk. You won't be leaving until tomorrow anyways." You nod, and call Turtwig from his ball. The little turtle stretches and smiles at both you and your mother.

You look at your mom and nod. She continues. "I've said it before but when you lose a trainer battle, compensation is required, whether you can afford it or not. "Thanks..." You shudder a little as you load the contents into your pack.

"The next thing we need to talk about is taking care of your Pokémon." Your mother continues. "Trainers can continue to challenge you, and wild Pokémon continue to attack whether your Turtwig is healthy or not. Making sure to keep an eye on his health will be key in saving your chastity." You nod solemnly. "Then there are wild Pokémon to account for as well, Pokémon can breed with any female, it's why there are few female Pokémon, but that means if you aren't careful, you can be **** by wild Pokémon as well." For a moment genuine fear fills you as you wonder if this is the right decision.

It's getting late now and your mother has been talking about the many potential dangers for the last few hours. She made supper while you've talked and now you sit at the table having finished eating as the talk winds down. Turtwig stand on the table as well, quietly munching Pokémon food from a bowl.

"The last thing to remember is that your Pokémon will need to be taken care of as well." You look confused at your mother as she says this. Taking care of your Pokémon is common knowledge why add it. Then you see the motion of her hand and a new shiver runs through your spine. "Love you too mom!" You reply as you gather your sleeping monkey friend and make for the stairs.

Shortly thereafter you're laying in bed, thinking through the events of the day, your Turtwig asleep on a group of pillows at the foot of the bed muttering in his dreams. The weight and energy of the day finally hits you and you start to nod of to sleep.
