"Yeah, thanks, John," says Fiona. "It's lucky for me you're a guy or I'd be tempted to cheat on Lesley."

"Hey!" says Lesley.

\"What?" says Fiona. "Like you wouldn't?"

"Convince 'her' to join a ménage a trois, maybe. But never cheat!"

"I'm sorry, baby. You're right. I was being selfish. I'd so share 'her' with you, really!"

You leave the two of them to their little tiff about what would happen were you female in the knowledge that they will work it out (and, you imagine, have great make up sex) and go back to looking at the homework.
