They did, I think...

IN THE TENT - A FEW HOURS LATER:

John and Kyuala have fallen asleep after their energetic "communal bath", coddled in each other's arms as they blissfully play in dreamland.

However, at the other half of the tent, Amilia and Lani seem to be asleep however that's proven wrong as Lani opens one of her eyes, trying to figure out if she's the only one awake.

After about a minute or two of listening, she ascertains that she is the only one wakened. She then turns around, getting in a sitting position right in front of the snoozing Amilia.

She then gives Amilia a gentle poke, trying to wake her as she whispers, "Amilia".

Amilia doesn't respond, so Lani tries again, poking a little harder and whispering, "Amiliaaaa".

Again, no response. Lani then sighs, trying to think of a way to wake the cat up, that's when she gets up and walks over to Amilia's face.

Just then, Lani goes over to Amilia's nose and with a small wind-up, she smacks Amilia on the nose and whispers a little louder, "Amilia!".

Amilia stirs a little, feeling the small, fleeting pain on the end of her nose and luckily for Lani, it works as the cat wakes just enough to go, "Uhh, wha-?".

"Amilia! It's Lani! I need to talk to you!" Lani whispers rapidly.

Amilia lets out a tired, groggy groan, slightly opening her eyes, seeing the blurry figure of Lani standing before her. That's when she sluggishly asks, "Urgh, I swear, if we're not in any sort of danger, i'm gonna eat you Wings, what is it?".

"Did you hear Kyuala and John earlier?" Lani almost asks excitedly.

Amilia lets out a groan, "No, I was happily sleeping, chasing a huge ball of yarn, until you woke me up!".

Lani is a little scared from the groggy yet firm tone in Amilia's voice but she shakes it off before speaking, "Well, they were in the river, and they, uhh, well, they, had, sex!".

Amilia hears those words but surely she didn't hear Lani correct, no way she did, that's when she decides to ask, "Wait, what did you say?".

"Kyuala and John had sex! In the river!" Lani says excitedly but manages to keep her tone to just above a whisper.

Amilia wakes up a little more and that's when she realises that what she heard Lani say before was indeed true.

"Holy shit" Is all Amilia can say, an impressed grin on her face, "She really did it, she really banged him, wow".

"Wait a minute" The words quickly leaving Amilia's lips quickly after her impressed muttering.

"How do you know for certain that they fucked?" Amilia asks the small woman in front of her.

"Uhh, well, I, uhh-" Lani's face becomes a rosy red, "I heard them, so I, well, I peeked through the zip" Lani admits, looking down at the floor to avoid Amilia's judging gaze.

The feline lets out a little laugh, keeping it a little low before saying, "Wow, you get off on spying on him, don't you?".

"What?! No! I just-" The flustered Lani tries to defend her case but it's to no avail as Amilia continues her little laugh.

"Hey, don't get me wrong, he's a decent looking guy and all but you could probably just ask to watch next time" Amilia teases Lani, making her blush even more in embarrassment.

Amilia sees the seemingly defeated Lani so she puts her hand under the fairy, surprising Lani as she falls back. Lani, now sitting on Amilia's cupped hand, looks up confusedly at the cat who begins to speak,

"Listen, I might tease you about it, but trust me, I would have definitely done the same, so don't feel bad. It's just a natural thing after all, plus, I always wondered how a human fucks, probably somewhere between a half-ling and an orc but that's not the point-".

Amilia then clears her throat, "My point is, Kyuala isn't a sexual person, at least, not when I last knew her. She had a boyfriend but, well, let's not talk about him, anyway, the fact that she's doing shit like this, and in the open too? That just shows me that she really likes him. So, we are going to do everything in our power to not fuck it up for them, got it?".

Lani looks at Amilia with a arched eyebrow, surprised at her sudden change of tone but eventually she says, "Of course".

Amilia smiles, "Good, so for now, keep quiet about it, but, that doesn't mean we can't tease them about it".

Amilia lets out her signature devious chuckle before laying her head back down, "Now, go back to sleep. I want as much rest before I have to deal with an extremely happy Ky".

Lani hops out of Amilia's hand and lays down before saying, "Yeah, guess so".

Amilia lets out a grunt that seemingly reads "good" as she closes her eyes once again.

Lani then does the same but a few seconds go by before she says, "You know Amilia, you're a good friend".

Amilia tiredly chuckles, "Ehh, you won't be saying that when I eat you tomorrow".

Lani's eyes shoot open as she responds, "Wait what?!".

Amilia chuckles once again before saying, "Sweet dreams Wings".
