Better Than Human

He is bigger, easily six foot six. Brown fur covers most of his body. A pair of vulture wings stretch out from his back. His hands end in falcon like talons, which ooze a brownish goo.

He is still wearing a policeman’s cap except instead of saying police it says enforcer. His blue shirt is shredded so badly it looks like a vest.

Another officer emerges from the car.

“Oh my god, Bill. What happened!”

You give an evil giggle. “Bill, see to it your partner understands.”

The former officer nods, showing four sharp incisors. He springs at his former partner with animal speed. His claws rip slashes in his chest.

The other officers body begins to crack and bubble. In minutes he is a duplicate of his fellow officer.

You pet your new recruit. “There, see to it every police officer in the city is converted.”

They nod vigorously and take off into the sky.
