It's the Eye of the Tiger!

A FEW HOURS LATER:

Sweat is dripping off of John as he takes heavy breaths while currently bent over with his hands on his knees, trying to fill his burning lungs with air.

As he stares down at the dirt beneath him, a large hand is planted on his back which is followed by Kyuala's cheerful voice which states, "Fantastic! You've managed to learn how to decently fight in just a few hours! Most take days, weeks or even months! Now rest up, but tomorrow, we will train again!".

"Greeeaaaaat" John faintly says between his almost **** inhales before stumbling over to the campfire to finally take a seat.

John practically drops to the ground, finding comfort even in the dirt beneath him, meanwhile Lani comes over and says, "Are you okay? You took a real beating".

John seethes at even Lani's small touch as he says, "Yeah, i'm, fine, I think, Kyuala, just, really doesn't mess around, when it comes to training I guess".

Amilia who is cooking some food by the fire overhears this comment and shorts before responding, "How'd you think her brother lost most of his brain cells? Two of them used to knock each other silly when we were ankle-biters".

"And don't you forget it!" Kyuala shouts from her position to Amilia as she continues to swing her axe at a nearby tree.

Amilia simply raises her eyebrows at Lani and John, seemingly expecting that comment from her old friend before going back to making her food.

John's attention hen turns back to Lani who says, "Lift up your shirt".

"What now?" John asks confusedly.

Lani sighs, "Just, lift up your shirt, trust me".

John just grunts as he does as Lani asks and lifts up his dirt covered shirt, that's when Lani sees some of the damage, his side is beginning to already bruise from the training, a bruise which apparently travels around his entire torso.

Her eyes go wide at the bruising but after a few moments of examination, she says, "Alright, at least I can help with this".

Lani then begins to move her arms around John's torso and begins incanting in an unfamiliar language, "A ’seargadh, mar ghuth anns a’ ghaoith".

A symbol of magic appears in the air after the words are spoken and then, with a simply blow of air from Lani's lips, the symbol dissipates into almost dust and the particles travel from Lani's hand and land all around John's torso.

John feels a slight tingle, it's a weird feeling but not uncomfortable but eventually it fades and Lani's voice follows, "You can put your shirt down now".

John drops his shirt and it falls back down and covers his body.

"What did you just, do?" John asks.

"I dulled your pain, tomorrow would have been a lot worse for you had I not done that" Lani says proudly.

John is impressed and amused by the fairy's proud expression as he then says, "Well, thank you for that".

"Yoooou, are so very welcome" Lani responds, her proud tone now turning to one of smugness which causes both of them to laugh as the fire continues to crackle beside them.
