Chapter 4
by tnm_leto_ii
Should Lisa play or fold?
fold
Lisa didn't know the Black Lynchers, but they sure had an effect on the saloon ambiance, and the other man seemed pretty confident over his cards, so she decided to fold. She still had some dollars left. May be the next games will be good.
The last man on the table grabed the money, stood up, checked his colt, made his vest clean and left the saloon.
In the saloon, pepole were next to windows to look in the street. Lisa was curious and went also near them.
She saw four men already waiting in the street, waiting for the Black Lynchers to challenge them.
“How often does this happen?” Lisa asked the man next to her. He was old, maybe in his late sixties.
“Once a week.” He replied. “I’m tired of this town, but I'm a coward. May be one day someone could make a difference.”
The Black Lynchers weren’t slow to face the four. There were ten of them, but as they made a half circle on the opposite side, a single man stepped forth.
“Who is that?” Lisa asked.
“John Delver, the Black Lynchers best shooter. they’re all dead.”
“So!” John Delver yelled at them. “Will it be one at a time, or all at once? Make it fun for me.”
“He wants them all to go at once?” Lisa asked disbelievingly.
“He’s beaten more.”
"He sure seemed to be pretty confident." Lisa said
"He once said that was routine training for him." Another mas said.
"All at once" yelled the poker man to Delver.
"Ok, one of my comrade will toss a bottle in the air, no one shoot until it drop on the ground." Delver said.
A Black Lyncher grabed an empty bottle near the saloon and throwed it high in the sky.
It broked on the ground some seconds later with a high sound.
Who will survive?
