Up the stairs

Figuring that the best place to find portable loot is in the chambers of the master of the house you head quickly up the marble stairs. At the top of the stairs you see a large set of double doors directly ahead and a wide hallway that extends to both your left and right.

The double doors are made from a dark wood and carved with a motif of grape vines. The workmanship of the carvings is superior; the vines twist and climb around the silver door handles just like the vines that grew wild in the hills above Hellopolis. Under the silver handles is a polished silver plate engraved with the same motif in its center is a keyhole. Two polished wooden doors face each other about eight feet to your left and further down the hall is a blue door with silverwork decorating the upper half of the door. Immediately to your right is an open archway and you see more doors in the hallway beyond. One of these doors is open a crack, and as you look in that direction it closes with an audible click.

The screaming you heard when you first entered the house has grown quieter, replaced by the moans and grunts of sex, and occasional shouts from the looters.

Where do you check first? The double doors facing you look like the masters suite, the blue door to your left might be the daughter's room, or do you investigate the movement you spotted to your right?
