You peek out and they see you

Your spot here is well hidden, in a ravine behind some bushes. You poke your head up slightly to see where the men looking for you might be. All three of them are along the side of the road, trying to peer into the underbrush to find you while Nell stands awkwardly in the road. You lock eyes with him and shoot him a worried look, which he can only return with exasperation. He can't leave with you still here, and he can't help you back onto the road until after they leave.

You duck back down behind the brush before one of them finds you. Several moments later, you hear one of them yelling and marching along the brush. You swallow a lump in your throat as you hear him getting closer to you. Your heart is beating out of your chest as the broken branch covering you is lifted up, bringing you face to face with one of the men you had charmed in the guild hall! They were definitely targeting you and Nell!

"Come 'ere, missy," he calls to you as he grabs you by the arm and pulls you up before dragging you back to the road. With one arm in his possession, you cannot hope to cover your bust so you don't even bother. You and Nell exchange concerned looks as the five of you are brought together again, the other two men taking strategic places on either side of your companion.

"So now then, why would you lie to us?" asks the man who found you. "And what would you like to say about that?"
