Nice Restaurant

“Come on,” Michelle said as she led Alexa to her car. “I figured we’d start with dinner. I hope you’re hungry. Maybe even thirsty.”

Alexa laughed. “You wish,” she said. “Dinner sounds great.”

Michelle drove as she said. “Hey, Lexi. I know this might be weird to ask right now, but um, do you still... you know have nighttime problems?”

Alexa thought she would **** as Michelle glanced at her. “I...” Alexa frowned looking away, not meeting Michelle’s eyes.

“Lexi, it’s okay,” Michelle said, softly. “I just, I want to be able to protect you. I would hate it if something happened and I didn’t know to expect it.”
