Yes, but Different

You open your eyes. It is still dark but you can see fine. Asia is sitting across the room in the dark. She smells amazing.

You rise to a standing position your body defying gravity. You part your lips to lick them and discover your canines have grown long and sharp. You run your tongue along what can only be described as a fang, and you find you like it.

The mouthwatering odor draws you back to Asia. You need to get closer to smell it better. You glide soundlessly toward Asia. You draw close behind her. Close enough to hear her heart beating like a drum.

You sniff her hair. It smells of rosemary and mint, but it isn’t THE smell. You sniff her neck and realizes the odor is coming from inside of Her. Your mouth waters. You nearly drool as you sniff Asia’s neck. You open your mouth wide.

“Stop.”

Farah’s voice nearly makes you snarl.

“I want it.”

Asia startles at your proximity.

“I have something better.”

Farah pushes a girl toward you. Your brain shuts down and instinct takes over as you drive your fangs into the girls neck and get your first taste of blood.

Time goes by and the girl in your arms no longer bleeds. You look up, feeling both guilt and the intense pleasure of feasting.

“There that should make you feel better.”

“Yessss.” You slur.

“Now we have another important task.”

You notice a green skinned woman with Farah for the first time.

“Now Danielle, do as I’ve instructed you.”

“But, drawing that much magic will likely kill me...” she drawls dreamily.

“Then it will be for a good cause. Do it!”

At the command, the green skinned girl begins to move her hands. The warehouse begins to change. The industrial walls become stone, as do the floors. Reality seems to warp and the building changes further.
