What'd you think?

The trio look at him confused, hearing but not quite understanding what he meant, that's when Kyuala asks, "What do you mean, a friend? Like Tally?".

John stammers before saying, "Well, uhh, not, exactly, it's uhh" John sighs, his mind working overtime trying to figure out how to explain and even if he should but after some deliberation, that's when he makes a decision.

"I met an angel".

The women all look at him strangely, wondering if what they heard was correct, that's when Lani hesitantly asks, "You, met, an angel?".

John sighs before sitting down, "I know it sounds crazy, but yes, I did, when, we were at the Seer".

Lani's eyes open wide, "Wait, at the Seer?!".

John simply nods which shocks Lani, her expression sending guilt into John who puts his head down in shame but that's when the tension is lifted by Amilia.

"Uhh, listen, everything seems kinda, crazy, right now, plus, I think we're all a little exhausted from the walk, and the rain didn't help shit, so, let's all just get some rest and tomorrow, we'll, talk about this, deal?".

John simply agrees with a nod while Lani just mumbles as the four simply head toward the tent for the night.

INSIDE THE TENT:

The four are laying down the way they agreed however Lani has moved away from them all which doesn't help with John's guilt.

John takes a deep breath as he closes his eyes, pain in his gut as he attempts to drift to sleep.

A COUPLE HOURS LATER:

John is still awake, unable to get to sleep due to the whole situation, he wants to get up however he can't move due to Kyuala's body almost pinning his down, even turning wouldn't be a good idea because he'd end up arousing himself which meant he would most likely be strangled by the orc plus turning toward while turning toward Kyuala would be nice, he didn't feel up to it.

All this left him very conflicted and that must have been evident within the air as that's when he hears a whisper from the slumbering Kyuala who says, "Still awake?".

John is a little stunned but replies, "How'd you know?".

"Because, you've been wriggling around ever since we got in here, so tell me, what's on your mind husband?" Kyuala gently whispers back.

John quietly sighs before speaking, "It's just-" He sighs again, "I feel bad for lying to Lani, I mean, she's been nothing but nice to me, helped me ever since I got here and, i've been an ass, i've lied to her and well, accidentally came on her as well".

"You came on her?!" Kyuala confusedly asks quietly as John then explains, "She walked in while Tally and I were-".

Kyuala stops him by putting a finger on his lips before saying, "You need not explain any more".

John lets out a small chuckle of his own but eventually regain his saddened expression before saying, "But seriously, what kind of man does that to someone?".

"All men do darling" Kyuala whispers, letting out a quiet chuckle along with it before continuing, "Just some do it accidentally, like yourself, do not worry John, she may seem mad now, but tomorrow, when you explain in full, she will understand why you kept it from her".

John sighs once again before asking, "How do you know?".

Kyuala chuckles, "Because husband, if you haven't noticed, which i'm sure you have, I am a woman too, I am just simply not mad because I already have a miracle in my arms, hearing of another from you is not so mind boggling, plus, I believe you".

John feels a warmth within his soul, a feeling of acceptance given to him by Kyuala, just then, he turns to face the orcish beauty before saying, "Thank you Kyuala".

The female orc smiles back at the human before saying, "You can thank me by getting some sleep, and by snuggling with me".

John smiles as he does as she requests, getting closer to the woman in front of him, resting his head on her breasts as he holds her tight which she reciprocates.
