I just can't wait to get on the road again

FIVE HOURS LATER:

The rain begins to pour down from the sky like the Heavens opened up and the souls of the righteous themselves started pissing onto the Earth below.

The quarter quickly stop, finding themselves some shelter underneath a gigantic mushroom which protects them from the bouncing rain drops,

Kyuala quickly starts on a fire as John and Amilia set up the tent, meanwhile, Lani is performing some sort of spell around the makeshift camp.

A FEW MINUTES LATER:

The camp is seemingly complete with the fire lit and the tent constructed, as the others sit by the fire, Lani flies over to them and says, "Okay, I set up our protection spell, we'll be hidden from any prying eyes and noses".

"Good job Lani" John says to his guide who smiles after receiving her compliment, she then takes a seat beside John on the ground as she asks, "So, what now?".

Kyuala then brings out some wrapped meat and places it over the fire before saying, "We need to get dry but we'll get some food in our bellies before we go to sleep and hope that this monsoon wavers by the morn".

The others simply murmur in agreement with Kyuala, following her plan as they try to dry themselves.

THIRTY MORE MINUTES LATER:

The four have dried off a decent amount however their clothes are still damp but now, they're enjoying the cooked meat while talking amongst themselves, but as they are, Amilia decides to propose a question.

"So, what's the sleeping arrangement?" Amilia asks, looking around at the faces of the others, trying to gauge their reactions.

"Uhh, what do you mean?" John innocently asks.

Amilia smirks, "Well, I mean, who's sleeping where? Like, am I in the middle or?".

Kyuala and John look at each other confusedly for a moment but that's when Kyuala gains a similar grin to Amilia's before saying, "I think John should be in the middle, after all, he does look the most wet after all".

Kyuala and Amilia share a chuckle between each other as Lani and John look at each other however Lani seems to be on the girls side as she has a smirk on her face also.
