Only thing that isn't Kreaky is the beds

THE KREAKY KAULDRON:

John and Lani walk into the Kauldron and immediately make for the stairs. They climb up the steps and head toward their room but as they get there, the door at the end of the hallway opens up, and they hear Kyuala say, "Hey, in here!".

The two quickly head over to Kyuala's room and walk in, but as soon as they do, Kyuala closes the door before asking, "Okay, no one followed you two?".

Lani and John look at each other before John answers, "Nope, don't think so".

Kyuala lets out a sigh of relief before saying, "Good, good. Alright, we've got everything we need, so i'm thinking we head out tonight. The only problem is that we can't take the cart".

"How come?" Lani asks.

Just as Kyuala is about to answer, Amilia buts in, "Her doofus brother probably got drunk and tried to fuck the horse... again".

Kyuala hits Amilia in the arm before saying, "That happened one time okay? He's too scared to even go near Sallinous since she nearly made him a eunuch. Anyway forget that, the wheel was completely wrecked when our delivery guy hit a pothole, so it's out of commission until midday tomorrow at least, and we can't afford to waste any time".

The trio agree with Kyuala as John and Lani finally take a seat as Kyuala continues, "Okay, next part... our gear".

Kyuala digs in her rucksack and pulls out a couple of swords, a shield and some pieces of leather armour. She then lays them all out on her bed, "So, we've got, three swords, a shield and some armour. So... you two" Kyuala points to both Amilia and John, "Take your pick".

John and Amilia look between each other before moving toward the bed, the two then look over the little gear they have before Amilia says, "I'm more of a dagger girl personally, they go better with my outfit".

John lets out a little chuckle, but Kyuala doesn't find the humour in her words as she responds, "Listen, when someone has steel to your throat, you're not going to be worried about your outfit... so take a damn sword".

Amilia sighs before saying under her breath "Someone's grumpy".

John then picks up a sword, examining it before saying, "Okay, I think it might be best if I take the shield and the shoulder guard. I'm guessing that I am nowhere near as agile as Amilia, so she can have the full chest piece".

Kyuala looks at John, an impressed look in her eye as Amilia says, "Fine with me, you can be the bait".

Amilia then grabs her appointed armour and examines it while John grabs his gear and moves it over to the desk. Kyuala then puts the final sword back in the rucksack, and hides it in her closet.

As the trio are looking at their gear, Lani cuts the silence by asking, "So, what do we so until tonight?".

Kyuala looks at the fairy and says, "We should stay together, that way we're safer if the Darkcross try to attack us before we leave. Luckily for me, I have competent employees to run things while i'm away. For now, i'll get us some food and drink... you guys stay here".

Kyuala heads to the door but stops and says, "And Amilia, please don't corrupt them too much while i'm away".

Amilia feigns offence as she responds with, "Me?! Corrupt them?! I would never, I am the idol of purity".

The cat laughs as Kyuala shakes her head before walking out of the room.
