After your session in the classroom, but before dinner, you corner her and ask in the hallway at the dining hall, away from everyone else.

"OK..." you say. "Well, you must be pretty good, or they would not have let you play. Right? Did you play now, in college?"

"No, I'm a medical student..." she seems embarrassed.

A medical student? What the fuck is she doing here? Well, she's not a BAD player.

"Hey, we can do this," you say, touching her arm. "But you have to forget about your friends. They aren't on our team."

"You're right," she says.

"It will be fine," you tell her. "You just have to be tough, OK?"

"OK," she agrees.

You leave it at that and go on with your day.
