"What do you mean?" John asks.

Elliyah then puts her head down, John now seeing what appears to be a look of shame on her face as she answers, "Humans weren't created by our Father. Essentially, our Father is our version of what humans would call, God, the creator of life. Now, since humans are from an entirely different megaverse, your essence is very different. The life essence here can create magic, give life to things that in your megaverse, would normally be lifeless. However, your essence, it almost acts like an invader to ours, which fuels destruction and chaos which in turn-".

"Fuels the Drakkatel" John says, finishing Elliyah's sentence for her with the angel just nodding in agreement with his words.

John is once again shocked, leaning forward in his chair, head in his hands as he realises the situation. He removes his hands, but still looks to the floor as he solemnly asks, "So, me being here is potentially going to destroy, everything?".

Elliyah quickly kneels down in front of John, bringing a hand to his chin before lifting it up. John is now looking at her as she says, "No! None of this is your fault John, in fact, you being here can save everything!".

John is confused, "Wait, what?".

Elliyah then gets up before grabbing John's hand and pulls him off of the chair as she then says, "Look at the image John".

John turns his head and looks at the big screen, that's when he sees what Elliyah is talking about. It's a picture of himself, clad in armour, glowing sword in hand, with what appears to be a blue tattoo on his face, similar to Elliyah's.

He's intrigued as he asks, "Uhh... what's that on my face?".

"That is a Mark of the Angels, only obtained by those blessed by my siblings and I as a reward for great deeds done to better the world" Elliyah explains before taking John's arm.

He then feels a weird sensation overcome his right forearm, he looks at Elliyah worryingly, but then the angel says, "Don't worry, it shall be over in a moment".

That moment then passes and as Elliyah removes her hand from John's forearm, the sensation disappears. Elliyah then smiles at John as she says, "Take a look".

John then grabs the sleeve of his loose shirt and pulls it back, revealing his forearm. His face is wracked a shock as he sees a blue mark starting at the wrist, and ends at the middle of the inside of the forearm.

John then looks up at Elliyah and asks, "W-w-why?".

Elliyah smiles at him as she says, "Because I know what you will do. This, John... is the start of your journey. Now, I know you have many questions so... ask away".

"Okay, what does the mark do?" John immediately asks, making Elliyah chuckle.

"Unfortunately it won't make you immensely strong, or incredibly skilled at fighting. However, this will enable you to learn magic at an enhanced rate. Elves are the fastest learners of magic on the planet, and you shall rival their natural skill".

"Wow, thank you" Is all the stunned John can get out as he continues to look at his new mark, running his hand over it. As he does, he feels a faint version of that sensation from before.

Eventually, he manages to pry his eyes away from the mark and looks back up at Elliyah as he asks, "So, where are we exactly?".

"We are in the plane of existence above existence, but my more... childish.... siblings refer to it as the Angels Nest. It is where we reside to oversee the world, and to make sure it never faces any sort of extinction. To simplify it, we are protectors... unseen by those who live on the world" Elliyah explains, seeing John's intrigued expression as he listens to every word.

As she finishes her explanation, John says, "Woah, so, we're in like Heaven? Or this worlds version anyway?".

Elliyah has a small chuckle before saying, "No, we are even beyond that, our 'Heaven' as you called it, is known as H'nod's Land. It is where the spirits of the worthy reside after their ****. It is a peaceful land, guarded by the spirit of my eldest brother, H'nod. He has no interest in fighting nor did our Father want him to, so he blessed H'nod with his own plane of existence, to guide the dead into their eternity".

John once again has an impressed look on his face, making Elliyah smile at the human in delight. The moment is quickly ended however, as John's expression changes to one of uncertainty and embarrassment as he then asks, "So... why are you... uhh... well, naked?".

Elliyah immediately understands why John's face changed so quickly and even laughs internally before regaining her composure and answering with, "I chose this form because angels are pure beings, and in my view, the naked body is a sign of purity. No secrets hidden behind cloth, just the being themself".

John thinks about those words for a few moments before saying, "You do have a good point".

Elliyah smiles again before saying, "Thank you, John. I appreciate your words, but I apologise if I have made you feel uncomfortable because of the current state of form".

John shakes his head while saying, "No, no, no, you have nothing to apologise for Elliyah. I should be the one apologising for staring so much".

Elliyah laughs once again, "It is no bother to me. I assumed this form to ease your eyes. You may even say I picked this form to be stared at. You need not apologise".

"Oh, okay. Well... thank you, I guess" John says before letting out a chuckle of his own. Eventually he stops, trying to think of any more questions to ask, but all he can get out it, "So... what happens next?".

Elliyah then gets closer to John running her hand against his cheek as she says, "Now, it's time for you to start your first adventure. I shall be watching over you, but remember, I cannot interfere if you are about to meet your end, it would hurt your growth. All of your upcoming trials will be yours to traverse through".

John nods his head, understanding the path ahead of him, but that's when one final question pops into his mind, "Will this be the only time I see you?".

Elliyah smiles again, looking at the human before her and says, "No, we will meet again. I cannot say when for sure, but just know, I will watch over you. May my Father bless your journey".

Just then, Elliyah brings her hand back, extending her index finger and brings it up toward John's forehead before pressing it ever so slightly.

At that moment, John's eyes close as he drops down to the ground.
