Jackie interrupts

"Can I have this dance?" A voice suddenly asked. You were currently dancing with Karen as suddenly someone cut in. You're a bit surprised to see it's Jackie in Karen's body.

"Sure." You answer to the question. Without a word Jackie fills in for Karen who sits down with some of your friends.

"I hope you don't mind me cutting in like this." Jackie asks as you waltz around.

"Of course not, you're my wife after all. We should have at least one dance together. How are you holding up?"

"It's okay, when I submerge myself in Karen's personality things are okay, but sometimes when I hear people pointing out how great my wedding dress looks, or how enchanted I look, I feel terrible for not being there actually."

"I know, but you need to stay strong Jackie. For both of us."

"And you need to stay faithful to me, my dear husband." Jackie points out.

"What?" You ask shocked.

"Just kidding, I know that you will. Although I was a little surprised with the I do part, I really thought for a second there that you thought I was standing there." Jackie points out.

"That was just good acting." You make up. How else were you going to explain the fact that you really were thinking for a second there it was Jackie standing right in front of you. You're too embarrassed to bring up that fact and the location is not really appropriate to discuss things further.

Before Jackie could say anything else, the song ended and you were grabbed by one of Jackie's old schoolfriends. The rest of the evening you were so busy with talking with people you couldn't speak with Jackie in private anymore.
