Become one with Water

You struggled against the current as the water racing around you pushing you back. You were cold and tired but you needed to gain the favor of the guardian of water.

Looking to the side you watched as Dr. Cesar smiled from the shoreline at you. You kept swimming faster and faster your body frozen from the coldness of the water. You could feel your body fighting to try to stay warm and you wanted to jump out if the water and warm up but you knew you needed this pass this trial whatever the price.

“The guardian of water is a relentless and enduring guardian she will not give you her blessing so easily Nathan don’t lose faith!” Dr. Cesar shouted from the shouted from the shoreline. Soon the raging water stopped you stopped struggling to swim catching your breath before the tide rose un expectedly you tried to swim but were too late as you smashed your back into the rocks. “NATHAN!!” Dr. Cesar yelled as you faded into unconsciousness in the water.

You could feel your body getting cold you tried to move to feel anything. Then you heard a woman’s voice echoing. “Water was always my hardest element you know it was difficult but the trick is to not give in.” You opened your eyes and began to struggle to swim you didn’t come this far to fail not here not now. Swimming you broke the surface of the water only for to come rushing back against you.

You swam against the current with all your heart your body crying out in pain and agony. Dr. Cesar stood silent as you continued the trial as if nothing happened silently rubbing his hands nervously as Nathan swam faster and faster.

Soon the current died down once more you stopped swimming allowing your body to float closing your eyes you took a deep breath before the tide picked up once more. You floated waiting and waiting before beginning fo swim once more you were halfway up the river when a large wave of water began barreling towards you. You took a deep breath before diving and grabbed onto one of the large rock on the riverbed as the wave and under water current pulled against you the cold tormenting your body.

Then it stopped the water calmed you broke the surface before swimming the rest of the way to up the river to find it dumped into an ocean you waded water as a large dark mass approached you slowly from underneath the water. You waited as the mass got closer and closer before you saw a large column of water shoot up. Then you heard it a loud whale sound.

Taking a deep breath you dove into the water seeing the mass for what it really was a large blue whale as it sang its song. You stayed out as the whale slowly circled you its massive fins and propelling it forward as it swam circles around singing a whale song. Eventually you surfaced for air before swimming back to the shoreline where Dr. Cesar stood. You looked back to see the massive whale jump out of the water briefly before diving back into the water.

You hand felt cold of all sudden and looking down you saw a blue diamond form next to the red diamond you had on your hand. You felt a hand on your shoulder an looked up to see Dr. Cesar smiling before saw your hand and spoke. “Don’t ever scare me like that again Nathan.” He said looking you over frowning as he noticed the large bruises and a long scar left on your back. “Aside from the scar and bruises you should be fine now you just have Wind, Lighting and Earth left.” As you walked to your next trial Dr. Cesar stood back smiling as he waved goodbye to you before fading away.
