"Wha... what do... you mean... parent?" Calen gasped out, but it was too late, Shugre had already fainted on top of her.

Calen tried to think about what had just happened, what this meant for her, or really how any of this made any sense... but after her day of waking up with no memories alone in the forest? She had a hard time thinking it could have gone any better without Shugre to guide her to safety...

"Yes... we both made a friend today..." Calen whispered as she put her arms around Shugre, rolling her off so they were both lying side by side. "And I'm glad we met... talk to you tomorrow..."

And with that, Calen let out a yawn and quickly fell into a deep slumber.
