"Your father has no problem in regards to me," your mother responded.

"Yes, because he married you when he's still a prince. But even then, the marriage bridges the relationship between this country and your origin country. I'm not blaming father for his decision for sending me off to the abbey but if I was educated normally and married right now, the transition of my wife and children to become the queen and royal heirs would have been almost seamless, just like yours."

"You sound like you're blaming us."

You shake your head. "What I'm saying is the situation is not the same and you should realize this. To maintain the current status quo in the region, I can only marry someone from faraway country."

Both of them are attractive enough that you wouldn't have problem sleeping with them, whether for sex or the 'royal responsibility'.
