You Don't Have to Choose

As you walk up the stairs to the ground floor guests pass you by, complimenting you on your looks and 'costumes'. You smile as they do and Jenny thanks them for you. You can smell their blood and part of you wants to feast on them here and now, but you know you have more important things to worry about. You enter the main room on the ground floor, you can smell something other than blood - inhuman things spreading throughout the house. It won't do to search for Allegra now, but as you turn to the entrance you realize you won't need to with a smile. Allegra is standing by the entrance, furiously tapping away at her phone and you and Jenny approach her.

"Looking for someone?" You ask, Allegra nearly jumps out of her skin in reaction. She looks at you as if you were a stranger, you've clearly changed too much for her to recognize.

"Uh, yeah I'm looking for my friends. Shouldn't you two be in the basement or something...?" She looks between the two of you, then focuses on Jenny as you can see something beginning to spin in her head. Before she can recognize Jenny you gently pull her face to look at yours, your eyes glow red as they stare into hers.

"Don't worry, we'll help you find them." You watch as her eyes grow dull and unfocused.

"I...sure." You're surprised by just how much effort you needed to subdue her, you can only imagine what a formidable servant she will make. You lead Allegra out of the building, a knowing nod between you and ticket taker as you leave to find a lair suitable for your growing group.
