What's next?
Legendary Seven
Endless Blue, unclear figures, a Darkness the size of a Toddler, floating and swinging around Your neck as it acrobatically jumped around.
Woooooo! I have a body!!!!
It cried, before cartwheeling into your lap.
Why the Long face? You're doing it! You already claimed one of your sins, in record time!!!!
"I have no idea who, what or why you are, and I also have no fucking idea what you are talking about."
The Thing grumbled, shifting back as it held out its tiny arms.
I, Chippy am your motherfucking Salvation!! woah!?
The Small black thing stumbled and fell face-first into the sea bed, making you sigh "Oh god I'm losing my mind aren't I?"
Flipping back up the small thing darted around like a cherub from hell its long black hair following it like dark ribbons.
Pft, losing? you've already lost it, My Main man.
"Clearly, you were like 2 Centimeters big a couple of days ago, now you look like a shadow baby- Hey, not that you're anything more than a demented recurring dream that I forget every time I wake up, but what the fuck are you?"
That would be telling.
It's glowing orbs it used for eyes combined, slithering down its smokey face to form a wide devilish smile.
_Don't ask too many questions toots, just keep using me, keep growing me, and live deliciously. NOW WAKE UP!- - - - - -
_
Your eyes opened, face bathed in the morning sun that flooded through the window. Daisy's warm body was pressed against you, snoring gently away as you smiled a little, lifting your watch to see that it was still the small hours of the morning... You'd only slept for 3 hours, although, you felt completely awake and active.
Sighing, You found your eyes flickering to the table where Daisy's crimson purse gleamed in the light. Daisy was out for the count, she clearly was a heavy sleeper, a lot like Diana. And then, of course, you started to think on your sister, her tight little body, freshly 18 with her perky little tits and... You looked at the purse again, eyes narrowing.
Live... deliciously.
And it was decided.
Carefully moving Daisy aside, you slipped carefully off of the couch, placing her blonde head on the pillow which she drowsily cuddled up to.
Moving on deft feet, you stalked over to the purse... Your fingers hovered over the buckle, curiosity bewitched the senses, there were too many what if's floating around inside your skull. Enough to unbuckle the Purse and find exactly what you expected.
Surveying its contents, you found a tube of bright red lipstick, a Phone... without the screen protector taken off, not a single fingerprint on it, it was unused, but you noticed many Text notifications which you quickly averted from your eyes, your aim wasn't to spy on Daisy... no, your eyes were focused on the only other thing in that small bag.
The Spine of the Crimson journal was ribbed but otherwise smooth, cross-hatched on its face with metal corners. Carefully, you sat, making sure to stay quiet while going to open the small tome.... only, it seemed that, a good bulk of the pages seemed to be stick together somehow, you tried and tried to pry them free, but they were honestly like a solid block and any more **** threatened to tare them.
Huffing, you peered at the parts that were free, the first and second entry in Nox's hand. Rubbing your eyes and looking at Daisy, she mumbled incoherently, her eyes moving under the lids to perceive what you imagine would be a very enjoying dream from the dumb smile on her face-- wait.
Looking back down to the Journal, you picked it up, noticing that the first section of it... was loose, there were a good seven or eight pages to read, and so you opened up to the very first page and Froze.
Dragon Breath: Flourish
"The First Rune ever to be created, this Rune, when drawn upon casts a healing light that restores the flesh of the living and the dead, whose source is the thread of Goodness in the dead heart, for even when gorged on blood, one who does not still have well intentions can even spark this Rune to life."
You knew this symbol, this circular symbol, you'd... used it before, but that doesn't make any sense, it was like a dream or a forgotten memory-
"Ugh!" You clutched your head as it writhed, the Blood-red symbol making your head writhe. but you gritted your teeth, forcing your mind to steel itself as Your Golden eyes flashed.
ohohooo, ANCHOR. You are using it at will now? this is very good.
Staring urgently, you turned the page to see two more Blood red symbols with descriptions, both of which you also paradoxically recognised.
Dragon's Breath: Azure Inferno
"Fire Burns, we all know that, but no flame burns quite like the wrathful fire of the Dragon. Hotter than any orange flame, this Violet nightmare can melt steel like wax, rend buildings asunder and make a man, living or dead, ash before the blink of an eye. Although temper your rage, for those that wield the Dragon's Flame in wrath, can never hope to control its power."
Dragon's Breath: Frozen Scales
"With every reaction, is an equal and opposite reaction, the Old King knew this and so did the Impossible. Utilizing the power of the breathless way of the ****, the King found the cold flame in the hearts of his subjects and absorbed it like a sponge does water, finding that with a bellowing breath, He could condemn his foes to an icy ****, locking them in Frozen Scales forevermore."
You read and you read, staring manically, reading carefully and excitedly as each symbol became as recognisable and familiar as your own right arm, flicking through the pages and reading with gentle fascination, lusting for more and more knowledge on these near Mythical Insignia.
Dragon's Breath: Maw
"Oh but is it not within the nature of the night-folk to feed? to consume and devour, steeped in endless gluttony ever unquenchable? Well, the Old-King in his research and wisdom hungered like no other. It was clear that the Hunger could never be quenched, never halted... but what if it could be enhanced? inducing the Undead Frenzy by drawing a sea of blood towards him and drinking until a level of unlimited potential? The Old King stood at the heart of battles and with this Rune, would beckon every last drop of spilt blood into his maw, consuming in the metric tons and becoming unbeatable."
Dragon's breath: Exploding Fist
"None could battle like the Old-King, he was a Warlord time-honed and cunning, but even He needed a backup, and with his study of Humanity's progression, He came upon the invention of Black powder. Such a flame had never before been seen before by the Old-King, quick, cruel and destructive, it had to be his. And so is this Rune's purpose, collecting the Fire in a single spot, building it, intensifying it until it glows brighter than the wrath of God himself, unleashed in an explosive fist that can render a foe into nothing but bloody shambles... and it's user too if they do not draw with Caution."
You felt your cheek twitch, fingers feeling at the long, thin scar just over your left eye, Images flashed, a Monster battling his Lover, a flash of white, a deep aching pain.
Dragon's Breath: Candlelight
"Even in his endless twilight, the King yearned for his days in the sun. long did He stay awake until the morning hoping one day that He might watch the sunrise one last time... but it could not be. And so, in his determination, He decided to make a sun of his own. Capturing the very eye of God, The King was burned many times, nearly reducing himself to ash, he used this willingness to suffer to fuel the power of this run and in its heart, found the light of the sun, which was now as his sword."
Pain... so much pain, someone had endured more pain than You thought imaginable, locked in a box of burning suffering... something about these "Runes" felt natural, like home... and it all came to a head when you looked at the final page, emblazoned with the final symbol, that was not Blood red like the others but a dark ominous grey.
It was a curved circle, spiralling into itself, a small circle lay in the centre, and spiralling tendrils touched at it's inside like it wanted to break free, each arm forming a Seven pointed star. Your eyes lingered on it, haunted by it, as You read the Description aloud.
"Dragon's Breath: Skyfall....." The Name gave you chills, it wracked you with fascination, speaking in reverence "The First and Most powerful Rune ever forged by the Old-King, because it's power is filed not only from the Blood but infused with darkness of his loved ones. The King loved the sciences and studied the sky, the stars above, and the planets beyond, but He adored his family more and offered them freedom from his constriction, offered them the sky itself. And so He did the Impossible and pulled their monster's out of them, tore away the curse of his blood and sealed it inside of this rune. it is that source that allowed him to mark the sky with this Rune, and rain darkness upon those who dared try and harm his beloved kin."
Skyfall... Something about it felt so special, unwavering and powerful. But this was all just outlandish bull shit..... right?
