The New Year Formal

It had taken a long time to master all of the dances Harmony wanted you to learn but it has been worth it because you finally learned them all and just in time too as the New Formal was tonight.

You stood in front of a mirror your crow watching with interest as you struggled to tie your skull themed tie, the sound of knocking could be heard however as you struggled. “Come in!” you shouted as you continued to struggle in vain in tying your tie.

The sound of the door opening and closing could be heard followed by the sounds of heels clicking against the cold stone floor before Harmony appeared in the bathroom doorway behind you in a coat covering her dress as she was in full make up. “Are you ready yet we the formal starts in an hour!”

You sighed before turning around. “I think I got the rest of this suit right but I can’t get this damn tie to look nice.” Harmony giggled before walking over. Untying the messy knot you had made she straightened it out before placing it on your shoulders before a tying a windsor tie knot. Smiling she picked up a loose crow feather on your shoulder before smiling. “Well at least my boyfriend can clean up nicely.” Harmony said before locking your arm with hers. “Shall we?” She asked

You nodded tucking your pocket watch into your vest before walking out with your girlfriend arms locked. Your steel guardian closing the door to your dorm behind you. As you and Harmony made your way to the academy auditorium.

The hallways were full of young couples all making their way to the auditorium none of them paid either you or Harmony any attention as the couples were focused on each other or their friends. Harmony smiled content to be with you as the two of you made your through the auditorium doors.

The academy auditorium was full of young couples all in dresses and suits you and Harmony found a lone table for two sitting in the corner. Walking over you pulled the chair out for your beloved so she could sit before gently pushing the chair in again.

Sitting across from Harmony she took off her coat exposing the Navy blue sleeveless ballroom dress that complemented her busty chest and generous curves. Harmony held her hand to her mouth giggling. “Close your mouth Nathan or you’ll catch a fly.” She said.

Obeying her you nodded closing your mouth. So the of two waited and waited at your candlelit table for your food to arrive. The two of you talking and laughing as time went on. Before finally floating silver plates began floating towards your table.

The plates with metal covers floated over to your table before settling down onto the table soon followed by napkins, utensils, your glasses and then a bottle of sparkling apple cider began pouring itself into your glasses. Soon you and Harmony lifted the metal covers causing them to float away.

You slowly began dining using your manners as best as you could like Harmony had drilled into you the past few weeks. You resisted the urge to stuff your face and wolf down your food like before. Finally after eating dinner you and Harmony continued talking before instruments began floating towards the stage.

A conductors wand soon floated before hitting itself against the stand soon music began to play the instruments coming to life and then couples began flood the floor dancing. Standing up you offered your hand Harmony smiled as she took it and the two of you made your way to the dance floor beginning to dance

Your hand on her shoulder and waist you danced and danced all the while Harmony did the same smiling all the way. Then the music began to slow reacting as well the two of you began to slow dance as well Harmony getting closer and closer to you before she was resting her head on your chest.

The two of slow danced like that for a while before you took out your pocket watch and clicked it. “Whats wrong why did you do that?” Harmony asked in response you continued to dance twirling her around you before replying. “Is it too much to ask to have a moment alone with you?” Harmony smiled before replying. “Not I suppose not love.” The two of you kept dancing twisting and turning as the world was frozen in time around you.

Finally the two of you stopped dancing. Looking down on your beloved you kissed Harmony her red lipstick tasting of strawberry while her perfume wafted over you. Soon you smelled nothing but vanilla. Soon Harmony’s tongue began exploring the depth of your mouth as she sweet supple lips held onto yours. But then she broke off the kiss. Placing a finger your lips she smiled mischievously before speaking. “Come on Nathan I think its time for that surprise I promised you since you did behave to so well tonight.

Taking your hand in the frozen world Harmony and you began making your way back to your dorm. Sadly for Harmony they didn’t even make it to the door of Nathan dorm before they resumed their lip lock.
