Mocked by customers

Lauren stepped out into the dinning room, pen and paper in hand. The second she did, people looked up at her and immediately stopped what they were doing. It was eerily quiet as the shocked customers stared at the supposed debutante standing in front of them in only an apron and a wet baby diaper.

Lauren gulped as her face turned neon red, waddling out to the dinning room. She cringed slightly as the crinkling of the diaper was the only sound that was made.

Suddenly, a woman at a nearby table broke the silence as she chuckled mockingly. "Aww, does the little baby need her diapie changed?"

This caused the entire restaurant to erupt into an uproar of laughter. Many customers pointed and laughed at the little woman, while others made mocking and jeering comments.

"What is this, a publicity stunt? Because it's not working!"

"What is she even wearing?!"

"I thought that this was supposed to be a family establishment!"

"Dude, is that diaper wet?! That's a complete turn off!"

"What I want to know is what happened to her top half?"

Lauren could feel her face starting to heat up as she bit her quivering lip. As she looked around the dinning room, she debated on whether she should just grit her teeth and keep working through the humiliation, or if she should just run out the front doors and away from this crowd...
