Fine

You wake up groggily, your mouth open, leaving drool on your pillow. Rolling over and sitting up, you wish you slept in better clothes, but were still glad you got the sleep that you did. You were worried that you wouldn’t get any sleep the first night.

Getting ready for the day, you unpacked and investigated the room while you did. Everything was fairly standard. A TV on a dresser, a queen size bed, carpeted floors: over all, nothing to write home about.

How were you going to spend your day though? You didn’t have time to plan anything before you left, so it seemed like you should find out what your options were before anything else.

You left your room in a pair of comfortable shorts and a slightly oversized tshirt; big enough for you to feel the difference, but not enough for most people to notice. You walked down the hall to see the receptionist from last night.

“Hi, could you tell me what there is to do around here?” you asked her.

“Of course. The spa and beach are favorites for travelers to relax on their first days, or you could head into town and explore what’s there. It’s been pretty slow lately, so even though it’s a weekend, you probably won’t need to make reservations for anything. I’m still going to recommend the spa to start. My sister works there, and I can assure you, her and the other attendants are the best.” The receptionist calmed down for a moment. “Personally, I’d recommend the full relaxation treatment. It’s a bit more expensive, but not as much as you’d expect. It seriously is one of a kind.”

You thanked the receptionist with a smile, and walked outside to think.
