Maroon - A New Trainer In a World Where PokeSlaves are A Part of Life

Ever since you were a little boy you knew you wanted to become a pokemon trainer. That dream seemed just over the horizon when you were a kid, the custom being that trainers began at the age of 11. Unfortunately, just before your 11th birthday, the human capturing error occured.

No one knows exactly what caused the error, suddenly pokeballs just began functioning on humans. A period of chaos ensued. Initially, the effectiveness of the pokeballs on humans seemed fairly random but slowly patterns began to emerge and it became increasingly accepted that PokeSlaves (Captured humans) were just a part of the world.

The rules of capturing humans in pokeballs are as follows:

1. A trainer who has been defeated in a pokemon battle are the easiest to capture. While it's possible to capture non-trainers or undefeated ones, the odds of success are very low even with Ultra Balls.
2. Trainers can't capture another trainer with more gym badges than them.
3. Once captured a human must obey their master's orders. They are treated by other pokemon and legally considered the same as pokemon for most purposes. However, they retain their full personality, unless altered with special items.

Once people realized these rules, and it became apparent that there was no fixing the error, society molded itself around these rules. Pokemon training remained as popular as ever but became a strictly adult pursuit, with sexual favors and fetishes becoming important facets of the lifestyle. Pokeslaves quickly became a staple of society, being used for everything from pokemon battles, to free labor, to sex slaves and legal prostitutes.

While you were disappointed to put your destiny on hold, your anticipation only built as you waited for your 18th birthday so you could finally set out to capture, battle, and fuck your way to the top.
