Something Alien

Your consciousness fades, only to suddenly awaken in a dark space. Before you have time to process what is happening a giant yellow glowing eye opens in front of you. More smaller eyes open and tendrils slither towards you, wrapping around your limbs and body and dragging you towards the large eye.

"YOU. UNSEEN. NEW. CONSUME." A strange voice thunders, it seems to come both from around and within you. The tendrils **** themselves into any hole they can find, slithering down your mouth and vagina, even your nose and ears. The tendrils at your head almost seem to worm into your very brain, and soon that same alien presence begins to enter you. "FALL. FEED. DIE.". The presence invades and consumes your mind, you feel your very sense of self slipping away and what little remains is consumed by dread. Somehow, some alien thing ended up in this stupid haunted house and now it's going to kill you. Your friends and family won't know, they may never even find whatever is left of you. You're going to die here. Alone.

But you feel the tiniest sliver of defiance. Are you going to roll over and let it happen? Your will builds up and you push the alien mind back with all your might. Suddenly some invisible **** explodes from you, the tendrils and smaller eyes burn away and the larger eye recoils from you. The darkness recedes and is replaced by a soft light. You have too much to live for still!

"POTENTIAL. PSIONIC. ADAPT. ACQUIRE." The eye projects it's will back at you, but it's intent feels different now. The smaller eyes reappear some distance away, and so do the tendrils but they are repulsed by your newfound power. "JOIN. CHANGE. IMPROVE. ASSIMILATE.". You can feel the thing's thoughts now, before it had simply regarded you as prey. Now it seems to want to turn you into it's host.
