Carl is on the run with his parents...

"Carl, why did you stop?" Lori looked back at her 18-years old son who had stopped in the middle of the road. There was a confused look on his face for a moment before he looked back up, his eyes scanning the area. It almost looked like he remembered where they were, as if he had forgotten for a second. Before she could get too worried, the young man jogged to catch up with his parents and sent a reassuring smile over towards his gorgeous mother. Fortunately, they still had each other - and his father, who was walking somewhat ahead and jumped at even the slightest noises..

It had been a rough couple of days.

A few days passed since the Governor had overrun the prison, and Lori Grimes had to flee away with her family. She had managed to stick with her husband Rick and their lovely son Carl, but she didn't have any idea about where the others were. She didn't even know how many of them had survived as things really went bad. Next to the usual threat of walkers trying to attack them, there was a hostile group of people trying to kill them too. The prison was destroyed, and had definitely lost its purpose - one of the walls had collapsed, and there weren't any fences left to provide protection anymore. It was the end of yet another chapter to a possible (or more likely, impossible) way of living through this apocalypse. Another try that had totally failed, since people still tried to get power over each other - which was entirely stupid, in Lori's humble opinion.

But there wasn't much she could do about it, other than trying her best to survive. They had managed that part so far, and the three of them had currently found a place to set camp. They figured the top of a hill would be relatively safe for the night, and they had found a tent earlier which they set up in the middle of some bushes. It wouldn't be the most comfortable place to sleep, but they had gone through worse. They couldn't start a campfire, however, since that would be seen by anyone and anything passing by right away - and they didn't want that. For all they knew, the Governor's men were still out there, looking for them although Lori doubted they'd go that far. They really took a blow as well...

The brunette woman looked over at her family, glad to still be with them.

Carl never had a normal life. The last few years had been hard for everyone, but for young people like himself... He didn't get the chance to explore his youth. Without a miracle that could stop this apocalypse, he would never head into college. He'd never be able to go to parties, enjoy life, do stupid things. He'd never be able to get into a normal relationship, and that was probably starting to become the biggest problem. He was going crazy with hormones! Ever since getting older, those feelings had started showing up for him. Whenever he was in a relatively safe place, he could barely look at women without getting aroused, it was starting to become a real issue for him. But well, everyone had a hard time so he was just plowing through it.

"Take care out there, babe." He heard his mother say as she stood up, pressing herself against her strong husband into a deep, passionate kiss - not even bothered that Carl was right there, able to watch them. Rick was going out for a bit, to check if the area was really safe before he'd get back. There was still a lot of love in their relationship, Carl could tell that - but well, the love between his parents wasn't exactly what he was checking out...
