Lauren tries to leave

Lauren was panicking as she covered her flat chest. How had this happened?! How had she not known that she left the house in just a diaper?! And the little yellow spot on said garment wasn't doing her any favors!

With her face neon red, Lauren reached over to pull her coat off the hook, keeping her nonexistent chest covered with one arm. Just as the little woman touched the coat...

"Lauren?!" she heard two voices say.

With a yelp, Lauren pulled on the coat a little too hard. Much to her chagrin, Lauren had heard a ripping sound coming from the coat. As she looked the coat over, she whimpered as she saw that it was ripped in half, making it completely unwearable.

Remembering the voices behind her, Lauren looked over her shoulder to see her manager, Beatrice, and her work rival, Danielle.

"Lauren! Why are you late?!" Beatrice shouted, glaring at the little woman. "Where is your uniform? Or your clothes for that matter?!"

"Um..." Lauren began sheepishly as she turned beet red. How on earth was she going to explain this?

"Wait a second..." Danielle said with a giggle. "Is that...a diaper?"

"Um...no?" Lauren lied, though it was clear that it was.

"OMG! It is! It's a diaper!" Danielle cackled. Her smile grew wider as she stepped forward and saw, not only Lauren's flat chest, but the yellow spot on the front of the diaper. She cackled even louder as she said, "And it's wet!"

"Please be quiet." Lauren begged.

"Wait a minute, I get it!" Danielle said between laughter, "The flat, nonexistent chest. The wet diaper. You're not a twenty-year-old woman. You're a baby!"

"Shut up!" Lauren snapped. Grabbing what remained of her coat, Lauren covered herself up the best she could before turning to her manager. "Beatrice, I'm sorry, but I've got to go home real quick. I promise I'll be right back!"

"Not so fast, Lauren." Beatrice said, causing Lauren to freeze in her tracks before she even made it to the employee entrance. "We're in the middle of a lunch rush! You can't leave now!"

Lauren paled as she looked over her shoulder towards her manager. She was filled with so much shock, she didn't feel or notice that she had dropped the remains of her coat. Danielle happily scooped the pieces up and walked away with them.
