The arms dealer Max sent.

Not wanting to take any chances, you pull the shotgun out of the bag and hold it behind the door as you open it. Standing there holding a case, with two more at her feet, is a beautiful Asian woman wearing a long black leather trench coat and what looks like little else.

“Hello. I assume you are Vixen. My name is Kaylani. Max told me you were in the market for some hardware to make your life here a bit easier.” She motions down at the trio of cases. “I am also supposed to collect the $22k you owe Max.”

“Yeah, about that.” You have no idea if you should let her in to see the mess, or just get her to go away. After a bit of a pause you realize without help, you are fucked. “There has been a problem. I don’t really need the apartment any more. Oh yeah, and I only have a few grand left after being robbed, fucked, ripped open and all my cybernetics stolen. Other than that it has been a pretty good day. Come on in.”

She steps in confused and cautious, apparently still wanting to make some money. “All of your cybernetics?” She asks as she sets the cases on the table. As you answer she looks around and surveys the carnage.

“Yeah it seems so, I can’t access my computer, phone, or anything. However, I seem to be more limber, my skin seems to be very soft and I have to admit I was a bit surprised when it didn’t hurt at all when he fucked my ass or buried it down my throat. So I don’t really know, the doc cut me open like a fish and did all kinds of things.” Then you grab your nice tits and add, “Oh yeah, and my tits are still D’s but my implants seem to be gone.”

She steps back in the room, “By the sound of it, the doc remapped your genes with nanites. We should have a doc examine you right away to see if there are any other surprises. Are you going to get paid any time soon?”

“Yeah, I have a mission I can do right now that pays $100k. But with no cyber wear, how can I possibly stand up to what is out there?”

“Well, I admit that would be nearly impossible. However, the guy stapled to the wall with the sword thrust completely through a metal medicine cabinet, and buried 1’ into a stone wall might argue that you must have something going for you. If he could talk that is.” She picks up her cases, motions to the door, and continues, “Come on. Let’s see what the doctor says. If you have a payday coming it makes more sense for me to help you than to simply walk away from a potential client. I will drive. Oh, don’t worry, my people are on there way here to clean this mess up for you. I just talked to Max, he feels bad they found you here and is fixing up a new place for you now.” She holds the door open for you to go with her.
