Face the man

Despite her state of dress ... or rather undress, she decided to just go ahead and ask the man for help. She walked in front of the desk and said "Hello", but he did not respond.

"Hello. Sorry, but I have a bit of a problem", she said shyly while trying to cover her most sensitive areas with her hands. Again he'd not respond.

She tried to get his attention again, but he seemed to be ignoring her while reading his book.

Several attempts to get him to raise his eyes failed miserably. Was he deaf? but he was talking with the female owner before when she entered?

What was going on? In frustration, she slammed her hand on the desk.

That did get his attention.

He raised his head from above his book, looked at her, looked at the desk, then without a word, went back to reading.
