Skyler's escape: part 1

After several hours of sleep, Skyler awoke in the same position he was in earlier. He slowly looked around and noticed something interesting. He was the only one around who was awake. Roughly a minute went by as he thought about why this was so. 'Hmm, how do you keep people asleep for a long period of time without killing them? I think anesthesia would be the only solution for that, but that might not be the only option within the Abyss.' His eyes closed as he thought about why it wasn't affecting him. 'Since I'm immune to poison. The only logical answer is that it's a poison keeping them ****.' As that thought ran through his mind, a new red exclamation flashed that he allowed to pop up.

Skyler chuckled, causing several bubbles to float by his face. This reminded him of the important task at hand. He needed to focus on getting out of here. If he dawdled too long, it was likely someone would come to check in on these pods. This would significantly lower his chances to successfully escape. He closed his eyes and started to channel Meditation, causing his health and mana regen to increase by 300%. After twenty minutes of channeling, he regenerated 123 mana and had a new notification awaiting him.

Skyler's eyes widened as he read that ability, but as he did. He noticed his mana was continuing to drop. His eyes started to look quickly around for a control panel near these pods. Sadly, he didn't see anything of the sort. This left him with only one option. He cast Gravity on his own pod and selected to decrease the gravity around it. - 50 Mp He almost instantly regretted that decision as his pod started to float into the air, causing his inner ear to run wild for which way the ground was. He felt his heartrate increase as the pod slowly started to change its orientation becoming parallel with the ground.

Skyler shook his head before cancelling Gravity, sending the pod and himself hurdling to the ground with a very loud thud. This caused the glass of his pod to crack. Sadly however, it was still intact. He began to glare at the crack as some of the gel began to ooze out. Within seconds, the lights dimed and several red warning lights turned on along with the blaring of a siren. It was at this moment that he realized, it was getting harder to breathe. His eyes looked around as he quickly realized why, his oxygen tube was no longer functioning. This was bad. Really, really bad. However, on the bright side, his mana was no longer being drained.

In a panic, Skyler decided to do the only thing he could think of. He cast Gravity once again on his pod and decreased its gravity, causing it to lift up once again. - 50 Mp He felt himself getting dizzy as the pod lifted into the air, once again losing sense of where the ground was as the pod began to slowly spin. His hands moved toward his mouth, feeling like he was going to vomit. This sense of weightlessness stopped for a second when it smacked into two other pods, sending them to the ground and cracked them open.

Skyler couldn't see who he had accidentally unleashed, but by this time a few guards in blue uniforms had arrived. Unfortunately for them, his pod was moving too quickly and hit them, sending one hurdling backward and the other two into nearby pods, knocking them all out. At this point, he decided to cancel Gravity once again, sending it to the ground, crushing the guards and finally breaking open his pod. 199 + 184 + 211 = 594 xp and 15.75 + 10.25 + 100.46 = $126.46

Skyler accidentally knocked those notifications out of the way as he pried off his breathing mask. Once it was removed, he took in a deep breath of air. A small piece of gel was sucked in, causing him to cough several times. After finally getting that gel out of his system, he turned to lay on his back. He closed his eyes, taking a few seconds to calm down. As his breathing slowed, he noticed that the tube that had been attached to his ass and urethra had slipped out. He took off the sensor attached to his forehead and his heart before getting up.

Skyler's muscles shook as he moved. He let out a soft sigh while thinking. 'Great, my muscles have atrophied.' Once he stepped out from his broken pod, he cast Clean on himself three times. 5 x 3 = - 15 Mp The siren's noise was too distracting. He found one of the guard's badges and noticed a small card swiping area to turn off the alarm. Once this was done, a voice came over a nearby speaker. "Hey, what's going on down there? Do you need back up?" His eyes widened before he coughed into his hand. "Um, no sir. One of the sensors malfunctioned. It was a false alarm."

Several seconds later, the voice replied. "Ah, that's the second one this week. I'll put in a note for maintenance. Better safe than sorry, right?" Skyler listened before replying. "Right." At that moment, he noticed a new red exclamation flashing. As he turned to walk back over to the guard's lifeless body, he allowed it to pop up while simultaneously opening his inventory to see what that gel actually was.

Clean has increased from level 3 to 4 - Area clean has increased from 2 ft squared to 2.5 ft squared.

Skyler smiled upon reading that before refocusing his attention on that gel, clicking it to receive the following pop up.

After reading about this gel, Skyler chuckled at the special note while deciding to keep it. It might be useful in the future. He felt a chill down his spine from the cool air in the room. Although he liked the cold, it wouldn't be wise to stay in it for too long without any clothing. That was when his eyes looked over to the fallen guards near his pod. He knew this wouldn't be fun, but he really needed the clothing. With this in mind, he started to undress one of them. Roughly two minutes later, he slipped on the guard's uniform, socks, and shoes.

Skyler looked himself over before smirking and thought. 'What luck! This clothing is almost my size.' He was now wearing a Mana Corporation Security Hat, Blue Buttoned Up T-shirt, Blue Slacks, White Socks, and Black Sneakers. He noticed there were a few keys in his right pants pocket, a phone in his left pants pocket, and a place to clip his security badge on his left breast pocket. He heard some groans coming from the two pods he had knocked over earlier. This caused him to think about the likelihood of needing help to escape this facility. His powers were nice, but it was unrealistic to expect to escape by himself.

Skyler started to undress the two other guards before approaching the two pods he had knocked over earlier. He saw a rather beautiful woman first. She had fiery red hair, light green catlike eyes, and a slender frame. He wasn't sure about her bust size, but from what he saw. She was likely a C-cup. What surprised him was, unlike his Nekojin Form, her arms, hands, feet, and legs didn't have any fur on them at all. Most of this faded from his mind when he looked up to her lips and his dick began to stir. Her lips looked very soft, reddish pink, and plump. He was certain that if they were wrapped around him they would feel amazing. The mere thought of this caused his dick to become rock hard within an instant.

Skyler smacked his own cheek and scolded himself while thinking. 'This is not the time to get excited. Don't forget that women aren't into you like that.' He shook his head, trying his best to shake the perverse thoughts from his mind. When he looked upon her again, he noticed a long fiery red tail protruding from just above her taut ass and cute cat ears upon the top of her head. If he wasn't mistaken, he was pretty sure she was a Nekojin. At that moment, a new red exclamation flashed that he allowed to pop up.

Sadly, she was covered in the same gel he had been covered in earlier. He looked to his mana bar and realized he only had enough mana to cast Clean three more times. Although he didn't want to waste the mana, he knew it wasn't wise to leave her like this. He cast Clean on her three times, leaving him with 2 mana left. 5 x 3 = - 15 Mp He knelt down and used Observe on her. "Hey, are you okay?"

Daiki's ears twitched before leaning back slightly as a soft feminine voice escaped her lips. "D-daddy, is that you?" Skyler didn't know what she had been through, but he moved a hand up to the top of her head and gently rubbed it. "I'm Skyler. I'm not going to hurt you." He set down the clothing in front of her. "Here, I brought you some clothing. What's your name?" Her cheeks turned bright red when she realized she was naked in front of a complete stranger. Her score dropped to - 5 before she disappeared in front of his eyes.

Skyler could barely see an outline of Daiki's figure as she stood up, bending over to pick up the clothing to put it on. It was rather interesting to see clothing float into the air before vanishing. Shortly after, her voice came out of thin air. "I-I'm Daiki. Why would a guard at a mana factory help me?" He lifted up both of his hands. "I'm not a guard. I just happen to be wearing their clothing. I accidentally killed a few of them when I broke out of my pod." He gestured over to his broken pod over the three dead nearly naked men.

There was a pause before the shoes vanished from view and Daiki reappeared. She was looking down to her new shoes while her score ticked up to 5. "Let's say I believe you, Skyler. I have heard they use a sedative of some sort to keep their victims from getting away. How did you manage to wake up?" Skyler looked to the side then up toward her face. "To make a long story short. I'm immune to that sort of thing. So, um, care to join me in breaking out of here, Daiki?" She began to ponder her options. While she did, he began to wonder if she would actually join him. If so, would he be lucky enough to have the victim from the other pod join them as well?
