Let Xiangqi decide

"Let his eminence decide," you say, "I trust he will make the best choice."

The servant seems surprised by your decision but makes the Zhongguo salutation and bows her head. "It shall be done, Your Majesty," she say before leaving the room.

You lie on the bed, trying to calm yourself. Even though you have done it multiple times before, doing it at someone else' place feels a naughty and arousing, causing blood rushing to your groin.

A few minutes later, there is another knock on the door. You go to the door and open it. To your surprise, you see Meiyue with Siew Chew behind her.

“Meiyue greets your Majesty,” she says in salutation.

“Good evening,”

“May I come in?”

“Sure," you say as you escort her to a pair of chairs in the room.

Meiyue turns toward Siew Chew and dismisses her with a wave of hand. The servant bows and leaves the room.

The two of you sit, with you swallowing your disappointment at missing the chance of having a quick lay. “So, Lady Meiyue, how can I help you?”

She smiles demurely. “Your Majesty, I’m here at your disposal.”

“Sorry, I don’t get what you’re saying.”

“As our servant has explained to you earlier, tonight is a good night to balance out your Yang energy. I’m here to provide my Yin.”

Meiyue is using metaphor in her words, just like Siew Chew earlier but unless you misunderstand her, she is here to have sex with you.

“While you are a very attractive person, Meiyue, I wouldn’t simply accept your offer of balancing our energy together,” you say, replying using her metaphor as well.

“May I know why?” she asks.

“Your husband may very well find out, given that we’re here,” you say as you gesture around the room, signifying that you’re being cautious due to being in Xianqi’s place.

“Of course, he’s aware of this as he is the one to send me,” Meiyue assures you.

“That’s why I find it difficult to accept.”

“My husband is willing to wear the green hat because he really wants to create an everlasting relationship with your majesty,” Meiyue hesitates before continuing, “Shuchun has also reached 18 years old recently and he’s visiting her room tonight.

That explains the rather protective stance Xiangqi showed you earlier. He doesn’t want you to get close to the young woman he has marked as his own. “Green hat?” you ask for clarification.

“To wear a green hat is to be a husband of an adulterous woman,”

It seems like it is a taboo in their society, just like it’s in yours. Even though you’re the king, it’s not like you make it a point to sleep with another’s man’s wife. There’s Dobra, but she’s a widow.

Thinking about it, you hear the common people having mistaken idea of a king or other nobleman having the right to have sex on her wedding night, the term being called jus primae noctis, a Latin phrase translating to ‘right of the first night’. That’s stupid in your opinion. Why risk drawing the ire of the people unnecessarily when you can spend money to get all the willing and beautiful women you’ll ever want. Besides, if the woman is so beautiful that you must have her, why have her for a night only?

But you digress as there’s a need to focus on the problem at hand. Meiyue is here to help you balance out your ‘inner energy’? Should you allow her? Or do you resist her advance as you don’t want to jeopardize the diplomatic relationship you have with Xiangqi?
