Goes to the maid

The maid beckoned her again, and when she saw it drive the knot into her aunt and heard her moan and shiver, burying her face into the pillow, she quickly darted down the stairs to the maid, who took her by the hand and led her quickly through the kitchen, down a flight of stairs, and into the servant's chambers.

"How long has this been going on, Elise?" Dani asked, trying not to think about what was happening to her aunt, and what she prayed wouldn't happen to her or Elise tonight.

"As long as I remember. I've lived here all my life, and our mothers warned us about going into the woods at night, or along the coasts." The petite blonde said, glancing upward when a low moan sounded through the house. "It gets worse when someone new shows up. They all wake up, and want a piece." She said, staring down at the floor.

Dani knew before she asked. "Has it happened to you?" The maid Elise looked up at her, and with a wary grin said, "Every time I close my eyes, and sometimes when they are open. It started shortly after I left home. I was young and stupid. I went camping with a couple of boys, and they got me drunk. I don't really remember much of what they did, but I remember what it did to them." she shuddered. But that is not what is...up there. There are two of them, you see? One that kills, and one that loves. Its not always easy to tell which is which. They are both water, and I think they are brothers; or brother and sister. I've been with them both."

Dani looked up at her. Elise grinned slowly, and said "And so have you."
