Chapter 52 by daciasdesire daciasdesire

Is it an eventful weekend?

Nope. Absolutely event free.

Spencer had a very pleasant weekend after all the excitement of his and Danielle’s date on Friday night. He’d spent the most part of it with Amy on Saturday before the pair of them went over to Dani’s house for lunch on Sunday. Ostentatiously it was to give Amy a better change to get to know Danielle and to get used to her Dad dating again but also as an insurance policy to keep Spencer and Danielle from tearing each other’s clothes off and losing the rest of their weekend in bed. As the pair of them sat across from each other in Dani’s living room giving their other fuck-me-eyes both considered bringing Amy as chaperone might have been a bad idea.

On Monday Spencer took Amy to Carter Junior and when they arrived, he found Kimberly and Darcie Collins waiting for then. Normally Spencer and Darcie’s children would run off inside almost as soon as they got dropped off so there must be a reason for the welcoming party.

“Go on, ask them,” Darcie prompted Kim when she initially refused to talk.

Spencer wondered if this was a continuation of the awkwardness that might be going on between Darcie and himself after they’d slept together and since broken it off. He needn’t have worried though.

“It’s my birthday this weekend and Mom and Dad were taking us to the Vietnamese restaurant in town. I asked them if you guys could come too,” Kimberly told Spencer and Amy.

“Can we please go Dad?” Amy immediately hit her father up with her best set of pleading puppy dog eyes.

Thuong Thien was bit of a favorite for Spencer ever since they had opened up. He normally didn’t need much of a reason to skip out on cooking dinner, especially on the weekend but with things how they were with him and Darcie… Still Spencer could never willingly disappoint Amy.

“Sure kiddo. We’d be glad to come,” Spencer told the girls before they ran off into the school excitedly to plan what they would wear to Kim’s birthday together leaving Spencer and Darcie alone.

“No need to feel pressured because of me Spence,” Darcie said now they could talk freely, “we’re cool you and I.”

“Great. I’m glad,” Spencer said and he meant it. “I wasn’t sure for a minute then.”

“Yeah sorry if I went a bit funny there. It was meant to just be a bit of a fling, you know, knock the old cobwebs off, but fuck me Spencer, you and that thing of yours are good!” Darcie swore as she typically does.

Spencer can’t help but laugh at the thought of Darcie needing to be the one to have the cobwebs blown off when he was the one who’d been celibate for the past six years.

“Sorry. Didn’t know it had such an effect,” Spencer chuckled.

“You’re a fucking liar and you know it!” Darcie joined him laughing, it felt good to be able to get back to square one with Spencer and joke around.

“Hey, would it be weird if I brought someone with me on Saturday,” Spencer asked thinking it would be a good excuse to take Danielle out to Thong Thien at the same time.

“What? Like a date?” Darcie asked raising an eye.

“Yeah… On second thoughts don’t worry about it,” Spencer said thinking it had been a mistake to ask Darcie that.

“Fuck me Spencer! You don’t waste any time,” Darcie swore again. It had only been 24 hours since she called it quits with Spencer and he slept with Danielle but truthfully, she had no claim to Spencer whatsoever. “I mean, of course, bring them! Who is it?”

“Do you know Danielle who works at the bank?” he asked her.

“The little red head?” Spencer nodded. “She pretty.” Darcie mulled the news over in her head, imaging Spencer and the little ginger doing the things they’d done together.

“Yeah she is. We had our first date on Friday night,” Spencer thought he should tell Darcie to signify there had been at least a week between the pair of them, at least officially.

Darcie considered Spencer one of her very best friends, she wouldn’t have slept with him if he wasn’t, so she thought she owed it to him to at least warn him. “Just a little word of warning Spencer. I don’t mean to be a drag or anything just be careful and know what you want with this one.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well her situation is all different from me. She’s going to want things that I wouldn’t. She’s around that age were women really start to look to settle down. She hasn’t got any kids and that could be something. I’m just saying, don’t string her along and mess her around unless your sure. If it’s just random sex you’ve got my number.”

It was something Spencer hadn’t considered. Was he really after the same things Dani might be? He had Amy already. Would he want another child if Danielle did. It was something he would have to think about in greater detail later. And what was that last bit? If he was just interested in a hook up to give Darcie a call. Spencer thought that they’d put a stop to it. Tony had said something about giving Darcie some time.

“Thanks Darcie. I’ll keep it in mind. All of it,” Spencer said as they parted for now and went their separate ways.

Over on the other side of the school, Spencer and Danielle’s date on Friday night were the subject of conversation amount another group of ladies. Cindy Lynn was holding court with a handful of other teachers telling then what she’d seen at McClaren’s last Friday evening.

What do the teacher’s have to say?
