Today, the city's economy is based less around the environment and more towards industrial and research companies. The so-called blue-blooded families of Honey Hollow that comprised its early business leaders are the Nobles, Wynwicks, Thirlbys, Huguets, Storks, and Zurbruggs. Altered version of Azure Rocks; created by Duskford

Originally referred to as The Tombs after the founding of Honey Hollow. The oldest cemetery in town, it's running out of space as the town expanded all around it over the years. Despite its proximity to several neighborhoods, its large size and abundance of foliage give it the feeling of being a world away. Contains the graves and mausoleums of the founding families.

The Tarvers live in the center home, with the Gibbles located next door to the south and the Kappmeyers next door to the north. The Dentons live on the north side corner home next to Vine Street. First called Pierce-Diamond Chemical, the company would transition to the shorter Diamond Chem. Following the **** of Samuel Pierce three decades ago and the elevation of Hannibal Diamond to chief executive, Hannibal altered the name again to Diamond Corp. This name change reflected his plans to expand the company into different fields. Aggressive business practices by Hannibal severely hurt Diamond Corp's reputation. Fifteen years ago, Hannibal's sons, Harvey and Graham, along with Samuel's grandson, Dalton, led a boardroom coup, toppling Hannibal. The new regime greatly expanded into agricultural technology. Current CEO: Dalton Pierce. Altered version of Ravers Enterprises; created by Duskford

In over a century of existence, the Wynwick Foundation has at times shifted course to meet the needs of people in the region; especially in tough economic times. Recently, the foundation has begun to fund programs for single parents under its current chairperson. Amassing a significant fortune in logging and mining, Sheridan Wynwick left behind a troubling legacy for his offspring. Originally proposed as a forest preservation effort by two of Sheridan's three children, Athena and Archibald, the foundation's purpose greatly expanded in the following generation. The gem of the family, the foundation chair is considered the highest achievement possible. The Wynwicks spent considerable political power and money to ensure their unique voting structure would be grandfathered in under new charity laws. Despite their bad blood, all five major branches of the family from across North America, care deeply about the foundation and its purpose, putting aside their differences to vote for each new chairperson. The recent vote to succeed Myles Wynwick proved shocking as underdog candidate Fiona proved victorious over her distant cousin, Kermit. Current chairperson: Fiona Wynwick.

Nosy Nectar - a website operating in Honey Hollow that specializes itself in gossip, relationships, and hookups about the town's famous people. Founded sixteen years ago. An early game in town revolved around discovering the identity of Miss Nosy, the nickname for the mysterious person who ran the site. The Missy Nosy nickname faded over time. The gossiper(s) have broken several big stories over the years. These include a steroid/PEDs scandal involving high school athletes, shining light on a ruthless blackmailer, and exposing the Honey-for-Hire escort ring at Honey Hollow High. Wasp Lake Park District
Wasp Lake Park- Located two hours to the northwest of Honey Hollow in Frog County and ninety minutes southeast from Rattle Ridge. The largest park in the region, it features a sizable Wasp Lake, the smaller Frog Lake, and an abundance of streams and ponds. Highly popular with vacationers for its hiking trails, campgrounds, and public beaches. The larger lake, Wasp Lake, has a beautiful waterfall, the Daffodil Falls, to its north. Further past that, the Thriae Hot Springs proved a romantic retreat. Due to the hot springs flowing into its waters, Wasp Lake stays warmer longer throughout the year. Twenty-one private homes are limited to the eastern half of the shoreline with most of the cabins dating back almost a century. Frog Lake, located just southwest of Wasp Lake, features both affordable vacation homes and a small group of year-round residents. All told, there are approximately twice as many cabins on the much smaller Frog Lake compared to Wasp Lake. And while there are large gaps between most Wasp Lake cabins, they are lined up right next to each other on Frog Lake. The Ponds, a marshy area just south of Wasp Lake, has a number of seasonal cabins used by fishermen, hunters, and other summer visitors. The park is patrolled by forest service rangers. The ranger station is located kitty-corner from Wirchie's. Altered version of Silver Lake; created by Duskford. Altered version of Zaffre Falls; created by Yarkoz
Wirchie's- Located in a smaller clearing among the miles of dense forest, Wirchie's is a series of mix-matched buildings all attached into one interconnected complex. Started as a bait shop almost a century ago, it expanded into the only grocery store in the Wasp Lake area. A small four-pump gas station was constructed onto the north side of the building in the early 1950s, and a diner was added to the south side about a decade later. Even nestled into such a remote area, it's a thriving business with a steady stream of daily customers, whether locals or vacationers. Current owner: Arlo "Wirchie" Wirch. Inspired by Meechie's; created by boomer97
Diamond Cabin- Located on the northern shore of Wasp Lake; it's the last cabin to the west. A recently finished luxury cabin, it sits on the site of two burned-down cabins. The first was the Rancourt Cabin built around the turn of the 20th century, which burned down in the 1940s liked due to squatters. The second was the previous Diamond Cabin, built in the late 1950s. Local rumors claim that a fire started during an orgy hosted by Harvey Diamond. As the cabin built by his grandparents held a special spot in his heart, Harvey wasted little time or money to swiftly rebuild it. It's a two-story building with a basement/walkout level, featuring six bedrooms, along with additional rooms that can be converted into sleeping quarters. Its foundations are made of stone and the rest are built with large wooden logs.
The first floor is mostly an open-room concept, with a great room with couches, a fireplace, and a TV; a dining room; a kitchen; a sunroom surrounded by windows; and a hallway that leads to the master room, a small bathroom, and a den that can be used as an office; glass doors give access to an outdoor deck on the back. Going upstairs, there's a small reading area at the top and two big bedrooms with a bathroom each, at each end of the cabin and separated by a walkway that overlooks the first floor. On the lower floor, a rec room with several entertainment options and a bar takes occupies about half the floor, and two hallways branch from here; at the left side, there's a guest bedroom and a laundry room; to the right side, there's a hobby room currently serving as a tiny bedroom, two full-sized guest rooms, a bathroom, and a wine cellar.
Outside, there's a patio below the deck and a room with a hot tub beneath the sunroom. The garage is a separate building with space for four cars and a second floor for storage or possibly future guest rooms. Down towards the lake, there's a boathouse with a bunkhouse located on the second floor. Featuring six bunks, a wood-burning stove, and a small bathroom, Harvey planned it for his friend's children. Altered version of Ravers Cabin; created by Duskford
Wynwick Lodge- Built in the 1890s. Located on the northeastern corner of Wasp Lake. Has its own small cove leading to it and a small stream nearby. A magnificent structure for its time, it featured quality craftsmanship and woodwork. The lodge had a great room, a large kitchen and pantry, a formal dining room, a billiards room, multiple bedrooms, and a servants' wing. Also had a half dozen guest cottages sprinkled around the grounds. Had a colorful history before a family feud resulted in it sitting empty for more than fifty years. The last full-time occupant, Lincoln Wynwick, was killed by Henry Diamond in a rumored fight over a Prohibition bootlegging operation in 1929. Children are told his ghost haunts the neglected building, so they don't play inside. Currently owned by a branch of the Wynwick family that lives far away, they refuse to hand over ownership to the local Wynwicks. As a result, the once-grand lodge has fallen into neglect, and multiple guest cottages have fallen into ruin. Harvey Diamond's fascination with the lodge dates back to his childhood. He dreams of it someday being renovated and reoccupied. Young Fletcher Wynwick shares those dreams.
Stork Cabin (now Wynwick Cabin)- Land gifted to the Storks by the Wynwicks. Located on the southeastern shore of Wasp Lake, not too far from the abandoned Wynwick Lodge, next to the park. Once a great family of Honey Hollow, their fortunes tumbled after a falling out with their former friends, the Wynwicks. The cabin was sold several times until, in a final act of ****, the Wynwicks bought the property. Owned by Myles Wynwick, Fiona's uncle.
Zurbrugg Cabin- Land gifted to the Zurbruggs by the Wynwicks. Located on the middle of the northern shore of Wasp Lake. The Zurbruggs were once a prominent family not just in Honey Hollow but in Arbor Corners and Blackbridge. While the family still owns the cabin, it is sparsely used these days as none of the Zurbruggs reside in the area. Rumors are it could be sold someday.
Huguet Cabin (now Olesky)- Land gifted to the Huguets by the Wynwicks. Located on the southern shore of Wasp Lake. The last cabin to the west it's considered the least desirable of the original great cabins, as the campgrounds sit further west. Still owned by descendants of the original owner, the Huguet name has disappeared. Extensively remodeled several times, very little remains of the original cabin.
