She decides to punish Spyro

She pondered this while she lay in bed late one night, Cynder's enormous form sleeping several feet away from her. Ember decided to resort to the best solution there was available. She was going to cast a spell on him, one that would, like Cynder, make him constantly hungry and double the amount of calories of whatever food he ate.

She quietly sneaked out of her room and went to the library.

Prowling the library at night was not an easy task. The tall stacks loomed like watchful sentinels guarding their precious literary treasures. And Ember was **** to carry a lantern rather than light any of the torches. After all, young dragons were not allowed in the library after dark without supervision.

Gradually she made her way to the stacks where she'd pulled the spell book from the first time, but right away she hit a snag, having a hard time recalling where she got the spell from or what book. She knew vaguely what it looked like and some of the spells inside, but beyond that...

With a groan Ember set down the lantern and pulled the books down one at a time and leaved through them. It took a little over an hour before she finally found one. It wasn't the same spell, or at least it didn't match what she remembered or the book she'd pulled it from, but the effects were basically the same. The only real difference she saw was this one cautioned not to use it on male dragons. Though it didn't say why.

Briefly Ember considered putting it back and continuing the search, but the sound of a door creaking somewhere put an end to those thoughts. Hastily she dimmed the light and made her way out of the library as quick as she could, the book clutched under one wing. It would have to do for what she had planned.
