Morning Pleasantries

Morning comes with no incidents in the night. You woke up from the sunlight peering in the trees. You see Kate talking with Rachael, with the Buneary letting out a yawn. You got out a yawn yourself as you smile and say with a teasing tone, "Good morning girls." They both hear you and turn towards your direction. "Good morning.” You hear your sister greet you.

Rachael, on the other hand asked, "And what's with the girl part?" You both giggled. "Let's get something to eat before we go." You say to them and they nod. You fix a fire and prepare to make a berried soup for you three.

After you finished, you poured an equal amount for each of your companions. As the three of you eat, Rachael commented on your soup, "Wow Rai, how do you know how to cook?" "My dad took my sister and I camping sometimes and on one of those trips, he taught me how to use berries we found to make soup." You answer back.

Rachael nods her head as she adds, "Well, I can assume that you came a long way. This is amazing." "My brother's the best!" You sister spoke out. You put up a silly grin and say, "Aw shucks Kate, that's not true." The three of you smiled and finished your breakfast.

The three of you then started cleaning up the mess. While cleaning you noticed something shining close to you. You walked to them and started digging them up, revealing to be two orbs, one bigger than the other, both with a wavy look inside. You picked them up and went back with your group. You look up and saw that the sun was quite upwards on the eastern side of the sky. You recalled that you and Rachael were pretty tired after having to take turns from switching watches and naps. In order to get more energy, you two rested and watched longer to where it was late morning now.

The three of you traveled down the dirt path. You heard some struggling nearby and you got your sister to be careful while investigating the noise. You looked through the forest and saw that there was a legs of someone traveling down the gullet of a purple eyed, Pidgeotto. You and Rachael frowned at the scene as you sneak away, knowing there’s nothing you can do.

Some occasions you had to fight off infected that you encountered, though they weren’t too much trouble considering you have your friend to help. Sometimes even having to rest for Kate to get off her paws, or carry her on your back to keep going.
