The Elf Sisters

Faye and Alice are two very close elf sisters, since they were born and raised in the strict land of Skylight City and had their parents absent for the majority of their lives, they learned how to grow and work together to survive. They didn't have much in their lives, very few friends, no family to rely on and the Elven Kingdom Capital wasn't even the safest place to live but one thing was for sure, they had each other, and a lot. They always supported one another and couldn't live without each other, they went everywhere together and are known for having an incredible bond of trust and love, they are the best duo that the Elven Kingdom has ever had.

Being excellent at teamwork of course meant that they were great at combat, Alice learned to fight pretty early on her life thanks to the Skylight Program that taught her everything about combat, on the other hand Faye took some time to learn, since she was 2 years younger than her sister they couldn't be in the same program year but that wasn't the only reason for Faye's delayed combat training, she was very scared to grab a weapon and she struggled a lot to learn combat moves, she even was about to die at one point in a batlle with a simple slime but thankfully her big sister was there to protect her and kill that filthy slime. This was something she often did, Alice always took care of her little sister and she greatly helped her learn everything about combat and other stuff that were essential for their survival.

Alice was clearly better at combat than her sister, who did learn a lot about combat but still struggled from time to time, even with that skill difference they created a powerful and loving team that got the honor to be part of The Official Private Assassins of the Dark Elf Queen, they got the chance to defeat dozens of evil creatures, explore all the fantastic lands around the world of Lustyre and do some other important jobs for their queen at an early age.

Now that Alice and Faye were 22 and 20 elf years old respectively they were on a big journey with the sole mission of infiltrating The Crimson Empire's Castle to **** the very own Demon King, it was a huge task but they had the skill and determination to complete the job, they had some very big jobs in the past that went almost flawlessly thanks to the amazing teamwork of the sisters but this one required a lot more stealth and time since they had to slowly get closer to The Wicked Crimson without getting noticed before reaching the main castle where the Demon King lived, this meant that they had to fight a few orc patrols on the way while sneaking in the Crimson, they had a few close calls but now after 2 months of their journey they were very close to the Castle

The two elf sisters just finished clearing out a small orc camp near the entrance of The Wicked Crimson main city, it was going to be very difficult to sneak in the wicked city so they decided to rest at the orc camp for the night so next morning they could go to the Castle. They set their bags with food and supplies next to one of the orc tents, Alice sat next to a campfire to light it up as she was going to prepare some food for dinner, Faye left one of the tents after setting her stuff and as she saw her sister preparing to cook she walked to her.

"What are you preparing for dinner?" - Faye asked with a friendly tone to her older sister, who first looked and smiled from the pleasant surprise of seeing her before replying.

"Oh, nothing special... just a simple dinner to get us through the night..." - Alice said before returning her attention to the campfire that was ready to start cooking.

Faye sat next to her sister and while she started cooking a simple porkchop she thought now was the chance to ask her a question that had been floating around her mind for a couple weeks and became stronger as their journey progressed, she was very nervous to ask her sister this question but after hesitating a little she got the courage to say it.

"So... are you ready for tomorrow?" - Faye asked with a slight nervous tone which Alice pretended not to hear at first but after her sister repeated the question she was **** to give an answer.

"You mean how tomorrow we are going to kill the Demon King?... yeah, i'm not worried at all... i know Light will be at our side to help us defeat the Dark Evil King once and for all!" -Alice exclaimed cheerfully which caused Faye to smile from the excitement and confidence her sister was presenting, it made her feel better since she was a bit nervous to fight the Demon King.

"Yeah! We got this!! It will be easy... just a few hits and the king is dead, great!... but if something goes wrong i know you'll be at my side and i'll be at yours, you know that right?" -She asked chirpily, showing how excited she was to fight the Demon King with her sister but Alice didn't seem to share the same feeling, she kept quiet akwardly for a bit, causing her sister to get a little worried before replying.

"Right... you know what, i'm very hungry and tired after that fight we had with these disgusting orcs... i mean what a fight, aren't you tired too? I'm sure you are... we can just eat dinner and go to sleep, there's no need to discuss this now so we can talk about it tomorrow morning..." - Alice said in a very suspicious tone that led Faye to get nervous as now her sister wasn't very confident in the fact that they were confronting the Demon King tomorrow. Alice tried to stay silent in hopes that her sister wouldn't continue the topic but she was to worried by the weird tone of her older sister so unfortunately for Alice her sister asked somethinf that she didn't want to answer.

"Wait, what's wrong? Are we fighting him tomorrow or what is going on???" - Faye asked with a very worried tone to her sister that now stopped cooking and looked at the floor, thinking to herself -How do i tell her? I can't... oh Odin please help me... alright, just tell her, i'm sure she will understand-

"Look... i- i wasn't planning on telling you this but the thing is... tomorrow morning i was going to leave before you could wake up, i was going to the Castle to fight the king alone..." - she tried to explain to her sister but before she could continue she was interrupted by her.

"WHAT?!! Why would you do that??... what about always sticking together and all that stuff you taught me??!! What about teamwork??... do you still think i'm not strong enough for this mission??" - Faye asked her sister in screams, she was freaking out because she felt her sister didn't trust her anymore and she hated the idea of still being a little weak girl in her sister's eyes but as she couldn't make sense of what was happening she calmed herself down a little to let Alice talk, which she did almost inmediately after her sister calmed down.

"Look, is not that i think you are too weak or anything... i know you are very skillful and talented in combat, you are like the strongest person i know but is not that... i'm scared of taking you with me because this is a very scary mission, i mean we are fighting the Demon King!! We could die there!!... An- and i can't afford to lose you, i'm sorry but it would be too risky for you to go with me, i- i don't know what i would do if you..." - she said in a completely broken tone, she almost stared crying but thankfully her sister calmed her down as she started talking.

"But that's why we are a team, remember, we always have each other's back... and sure, this is probably the most risky thing we'll ever do in our lives but i'm willing to take that risk with you... if you die there at least i'll be happy to die with you because if you go i go, remember?..." -she said with a soothing tone to her sister, who looked at her with teary eyes but with a smile from the encouraging and sweet words of her sister, but that wasn't everything because after Faye placed a hand on her sister cheek and continued talking.

"I'm going to battle with you, alright?... whatever happens there i'll be at your side, i'm going with you... we are stronger together right?" - She asked with a friendly tone and her sister replied with a slight nod as she wiped a tear off her cheek. Faye smiled at her sister for a long time, they just looked deep into each other's eyes for a while and as Alice shed another tear her sister was there to wipe it off her cheek for her in a sweet gesture which caused Alice to chuckled and get closer to her to stare into her sister's eyes for a little longer before she took the incentive to wrap her arms around Faye and pull her into a long, big, affectionate hug that showed how much she loved her sister.

"I love you..." - Faye whispered into her sister's ear as they hugged, proving that she loved her as much as she did, even more, her sister was everything to her and she knew that in this battle she could probably lose her, but at least if it happened she would go out with her, with a smile even from how proud she was to fight along her loving sister.

"I love you too" - Alice replied as she held her sister tighter with her love filled hug. They continued hugging for a while until Alice pulled away to smile at her sister once more and change the mood a little as they were going to have dinner.

"Well, now let's just have a nice dinner... we'll need the energy for tomorrow... hope it all goes well, it's going to be difficult to battle the Demon King but i think tomorrow is the day we finally beat that evil bastard!!" - Alice exclaimed enthusiastic before they had dinner, they were preparing for a big day and even if they were nervous after a good sleep they were ready to confront the biggest King Demon of Lustyre.
