Call For Dinner. Prepare first.

I headed back home with a dumb smile on my face. Honestly I don’t mind not showing my face in public if it keeps me from looking like an idiot. That might be strange coming from someone as vain as me. But I guess I still have some shyness when dealing with this in the real world, than when I expose myself online. Since I only let those people see what I want them to. Everything is controlled,lighting, angle, depth of field, outfit, setting, and of course post editing is something I am very meticulous about. And if I was simply a confident, shameless person I wouldn’t worry about the minor details that most people wouldn’t even notice. I guess I pride myself on a level of professionalism that is to be unexpected. But I wouldn’t have gained such professional skill without the genuine care over the details, not just the eye for them.

Sometimes I do worry if I overthink things too much. But now is not the time to dwell on that, when I have to date to overprepare and overthink about. It's not like I am going to change my ways the instant that I think they might be faulty. I simply have no other means of existing at the moment.

First thing to worry about is the setting. It's noon to worry about, do I have time to make my home looked...lived in? Like it’s mine? I guess I have to excuse that I just moved in. But If I expect to take her home, I should at least make the bedroom my own to make the argument that I will change the decor more believable.

If I get latex paint, I could do everything in one coat for now, and it only takes an hour to dry, but takes four hour to put another coat. So I could conceivably paint, at least a wall or two, using not much of my time. Especially if I don’t have too much furniture. I always found on white on blue, but brighter colors would fit better in the room with current decorations. And replacing a chandelier would be time consuming, and I am not an electrician. I could just make that room have an orange accent wall. It does get a lot of light. Would look pretty in the daytime. Deep Orange over white should make a good color even if it's just one coat. Better get started then.

Shit it's 2 o'clock and I haven’t even called yet to make planes for dinner! Oh wait, she gets off at 3 so maybe I should call then? No, I should send a text first explaining that I want to get dinner together.

“Hey Ally! It's Selene! You know the girl you gave your number too. I was wondering if dinner would be ok for tonight? We could go out or order in? I am free from 6:30” I sent. Before feeling a sense of existential dread go into the pit of my stomach. I haven’t told her I am trans...It's not like she was hinted that I was by anything. I look very passing now. Should I tell her now? Or before things get too heated?

Maybe check her profile first? I kinda forgot that this thing is meant to track real world relationships at this point. She should be the only one on the list.

But I can’t help but feel that trying to use these perks just to answer a simple question is going to be more trouble then their worth at least right now. I should be confident enough with myself to ask this question if I want to get intimate with people in the real world. Oh and I got a message back!

Umm there is still more interior decorating to do! Lots to do! Can’t worry now with so much to prepare for! I said before scrolling through the Devotion store for more decorations for my style. What...I could replace items with this phone? Like I don’t have to store the old shit or throw it away? Does this work for paint…? You have to be kidding me! This thing can magically replace the paint on my wall but not tell me Ally’s sexuality! Oh god she messaged me back.
