Drinking, drinking, and maybe a little more drinking

As all the guys start to get drunker around you, you start to get more and more nervous. Willl they notice that you're checking some of them out? What about the box! You can't let them see the box, it'd be too hard to explain.

Before you know it, you and Pete start talking among yourselves, mostly about his newest team the latest addition of a popular sports video game. You can clearly see how passionate he is about this, and it makes you smirk a little bit. Pete was always the "nice guy" of the group, he was always a wuss around girls, saying he wanted to "respect them" and "give them space to know what they want". Pft whatever. But for the first time in your life, you start to see the inherent good that is in Pete. His smile, his sparkling eyes, the way he talks about his interests.

Why couldn't you tell him about the box? Pete would be the most understanding, that this is a wrong package full of some crazy stuff. You're not inherently linked towards the contents as long as theyre in the box.
